Bear Ridge Speedway is Gearing Up for an Action Packed 2015 Season

gdfghfBRADFORD, VT – With the 2015 Racing Season rapidly approaching Bear Ridge Speedway is making its’ presence known throughout the region, appearing at numerous shows in preparation for the season opening event on Saturday May 2nd.

 

Come visit the Bear Ridge Speedway booth at the following shows. This weekend, March 20th -22nd, the track will be at the HomeLife Expo, held at the Leverone Field House in Hanover, NH. The following weekend, March 28th-29th, the Speedway will in attendance at the Annual car show held at The Diamond Run Mall in Rutland, VT. Stop by the booth at either of these shows to pickup a 2015 schedule and sign up to potentially win a grandstand ticket.

DJ Shaw Excited To Start Season At Anderson’s Peach Blossom Special

500web-PASS-2006-MasterCHARLOTTE, NC (March 13) – After a long off season for many teams, especially those in the Northeast and Canada, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) National Championship Series is set to kick off Saturday, March 21 with the Peach Blossom Special 125 at Anderson Motor Speedway. This year’s event will mark the first time PASS has raced at the Upstate South Carolina facility since veteran Brandon Ward took the checkered flag there in 2012.

Veteran Jeff Baral Looking for Win in Return to SK Modified® Competition at Stafford Motor Speedway

lkdfgosdf(Stafford Springs, CT)—When a driver makes a return to racing after taking some time away, the driver can either pick back up where they left off, or they can experience some growing pains. For Plantsville native Jeff Baral, he is hoping for the former. Baral will make his return to the SK Modified® division after sitting out the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons and he is looking to put his familiar #18 back in NAPA Victory Lane.

Anthony Ryan, Jr. Ready to Join the SPAFCO SK Modified® Rookie Class at Stafford Speedway

jdshffa(Stafford Springs, CT)—After finishing fourth in points during his first full season of Late Model competition at Waterford in 2014, Ridgefield native Anthony Ryan, Jr. will join the 2015 SPAFCO SK Modified® rookie class at Stafford Speedway. Ryan comes to Stafford with an extensive background in karting and the Allison Legacy Series along with his Late Model experience.
“I started racing at 5 years old driving go karts,” said Ryan. “I won 2 WKA national championships in 2004 and then ran some Micro Sprints before moving up to Allison Legacy Series. I then ran a part-time schedule until last season when we ran a full late model schedule at Waterford for the first time and we finished 4th in points.”

Stafford Speedway NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler Driver Stats

gjdgad(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway’s NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler is the longest continuously running race on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule. The race was first run in 1972 and it has served as the kick-off race for each season of racing at the Connecticut half-mile since then. With the race heading towards its 44th annual edition on April 24-26, here is a look at some stats and figures for not only the race itself, but for active modified drivers that will or could possibly be part of the starting grid on Sunday, April 26th.
