LAKEVILLE, Conn. – Picking up where he left off at Infineon Raceway two weeks ago, Andrew Ranger returned to Victory Lane on a road course, this time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Lime Rock Park.
Race leader Cole Whitt ran off the course after contact with Ranger on Lap 52 of the 66-circuit event. Ranger assumed the lead and gradually drove away, beating Whitt to the checkered flag by 5.899 seconds.
Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Max Gresham and Brett Moffitt finished third and fourth, respectively. Points leader Ryan Truex finished fifth. He led eight laps before sliding off the course and through the dirt in Turn 1 on a Lap 45 restart and lost 11 spots. He worked his way back through the field but ran out of time as the race didn’t have another yellow flag.
