Dowling has spent the last two years running on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour after an impressive 2014 season in the SK Modified® division which etched his name in the record books as the youngest SK Modified® winner in track history.

Registration Opens, Technical Inspectors & Rules Announced

Planning is well underway for the 2017 season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP). Officials from the historic ⅝-mile oval announced that they are receiving car number registrations for their 77th season. Renewals for drivers in the Sunoco Modified, Late Model, Limited Sportsman, Mini Stock, and Lite Modified drivers will continue until January 15. After that date, numbers will be issued on a first come-first served basis. As an incentive, anyone registering their car number from now through January 1, will receive discounted rate of $25. After January 1, the rate will increase to $35. Drivers can visit the competitor info tab under NASCAR Racing on www.thompsonspeedway.com to download the registration form. Instructions for return are also on the form.

Bryan Narducci Wins Magnus Racing Products Limited Late Model Rookie of the Year Runner Up Bonus at Stafford Motor Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the second season in a row, Magnus Racing Products presented a Rookie of the Year Runner up bonus for the Limited Late Model NASCAR Whelen All-American Series division. Taking home a $300 bonus from Magnus in the Limited Late Model division for the 2016 season is Colchester native Bryan Narducci, driver of the #28 DP Motorsports Chevrolet.

Narducci made the move into Stafford’s Limited Late Model division after spending 6 seasons moving through the ranks of the Wild Thing Kart Series on Monday nights. With over 40 wins to his credit in the karts, Narducci took over the #28 DP Motorsports machine that David Arute had piloted to 11 wins in 4 seasons of competition. While Narducci struggled in the early going, he found his groove midway through the 2016 season and drove to 2 wins during his rookie season.
