Justin Bonsignore Ready to Kick Off Season of Double Duty Racing at Stafford With 44th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler

The West Islip, NY native doubled his career win total from 3 to 6 and was in the championship race with Doug Coby until several mechanical issues late in the season relegated him third in the final standings. Fast forward to the 2015 season and Bonsignore is ready to once again be a championship contender. To add to his busy schedule he will be pulling double duty at Stafford during Whelen Modified Tour events as he will pilot an Art Barry owned SK Modified® for the entire 2015 season.

Defending Whelen Modified Tour Champion Doug Coby Ready to Chase NAPA Spring Sizzler Victory With New Chassis & Engine Combination

fasfrter(Stafford Springs, CT)—Last season, Southington native Doug Coby captured his second career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship with 1 win, 9 top-5, and 12 top-10 finishes in the 13-race season. As Coby and the #2 Dunleavy Truck and Trailer Repair / Hex Performance Mike Smeriglio owned team prepare to defend the championship this season, they made an almost unprecedented move of changing both their chassis and engine. The #2 team switched their chassis from Troyer to LFR and will utilize the NASCAR Spec Engine this season.

New England Racing Fuel To Support Rookie Program at Stafford Speedway

aaerere(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that New England Racing Fuel, Sunoco Brand with John Holland and Mike Joy, have renewed their participation in the track’s Contingency Program for the upcoming 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season. New England Racing Fuel was one of the very first companies to join Stafford’s Contingency Program when it was created prior to the 1999 season and they have been part of the program every year since. The 2015 season will mark the 17th consecutive season that New England Racing Fuel has been a member of the Contingency Program.

Stafford Speedway to host 2015 Legend Cars Asphalt Nationals Qualifier

aaerere(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 2015 season at Stafford Motor Speedway will mark the second season of weekly Legend Car competition around the track’s mini-mile. In addition Stafford Speedway Management is proud to announce that the Legend Cars feature during the season ending NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final Weekend on Oct. 3rd will serve as a Legends Car Asphalt Nationals Qualifier.

SK Light Past Champion Provisional added to Stafford SK Modifieds®

aaerere(Stafford Springs, CT)—To mark the 10th season of the SK Light Modified division, Stafford Speedway is announcing a new program for SK Light champions moving into the SK Modified® division. Starting at the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler, an additional provisional starting position will be available to the defending SK Light Modified division champion. The provisional will be available for use three times throughout the entire season under a “use it or lose it” policy.
Defending SK Light Modified Jeremy Sorel will be the first beneficiary in the inaugural year for the program.
