Mike Christopher, Jr. Ready to Make SK Modified® Debut at Stafford Motor Speedway

gdfgdfg(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the green flag falls on the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler on April 25-26 at Stafford Motor Speedway, the track’s premier SK Modified® division will see second generation driver Mike Christopher, Jr. among its rookie crop of drivers. Christopher began the 2014 season behind the wheel of a Legend Car but he finished out the year driving the final 5 races in the track’s SK Light division. He is now making the move into the SK Modified® division where he will race against his Uncle Ted and the rest of the SK Modified® field on a weekly basis with the same #82 that his father made famous to Stafford race fans.

Call Before You Dig Returns as First Place SK Modified® Contingency Sponsor at Stafford Motor Speedway

fidsugd(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Call Before You Dig has renewed their participation in the contingency program by presenting a $150 bonus to each SK Modified® feature winner during the 2015 season. This year will mark the 6th consecutive season that CBYD has been a contingency program partner with Stafford’s premier SK Modified® division. CBYD’s $150 bonus brings the SK Modified® feature winners check up to $1,700. In addition to their contingency program partnership, CBYD will serve as the title sponsor of the track’s Technical Inspection Zone for the ninth consecutive season of NASCAR Whelen All American Series competition.

Former Wild Thing Kart Champion Kyle Startz Joins 2015 SK Light R.A.D. Automachine / T/A Engines Rookie Class at Stafford Speedway

vchfghfghfg(Stafford Springs, CT)—As time continues to count down to the first green flag of the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season at Stafford Motor Speedway, the track’s SK Light rookie class continues to grow. Oakdale native Kyle Startz is the latest rookie to join the class of drivers who will be chasing a record $1,000 bonus from R.A.D. Automachine and T/A Engines. Startz is also the latest driver to move from the Wild Thing Kart ranks into one of Stafford’s five weekly divisions. There are currently over 20 drivers who raced on Monday nights at Stafford in the Wild Thing Karts on the 2015 driver roster and Startz was the 2008 Champ Kart Champion in the Wild Thing Karts. Startz also won the 2009 New England Champ Kart Series championship and he has won Rookie of the Year honors across all his divisions of go kart racing. After taking some time off from racing, Startz is ready to embark on a new challenge in his racing career.

Former Wild Thing Karts Champion Daniel Wesson Joins R.A.D. Automachine / T/A Engines SK Light Rookie Class at Stafford Speedway

Matt Swanson Ready to Pilot SPAFCO Chassis for Rookie Season in Stafford’s SK Lights

fasfasfaga(Stafford Springs, CT)—In the short 9 year life span of Stafford’s SK Light Modified division, the track championship has been won three times by a rookie driver. The 2015 season could see a fourth rookie champion in 10 years. Acton, MA native Matt Swanson will look to join Michael Gervais, Jr., Matt Galko, and Jeremy Sorel as rookie champions when he makes his Stafford SK Light debut at the April 24-26 NAPA Spring Sizzler. Swanson is making the move to Stafford after winning the Modified track championship at Star Speedway as a 14-year old this past season.
