(Stafford Springs, CT)—After several seasons and two victories in Stafford
’s SK Light division, Granby, MA native Heather DesRochers made a successful
transition into Stafford’s premier SK Modified® division for the 2011
season. DesRochers posted two top-10 finishes this year to finish in 16th
place in the SK Modified® standings and win the Reliable Welding and Speed
Rookie of the Year award in a nip and tuck battle with Brian Sullivan.
Although her team faced a motor issue throughout the 2011 season, DesRochers
was happy with her rookie season and is looking to build upon her rookie

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway’s SK Modified® division has
added another rookie competitor from the SK Light ranks for the upcoming
2012 season. The newest member of the 2012 SK Modified® rookie class will
be Montgomery, Mass. native Kyle Spencer. Spencer is coming off a career
best season in Stafford’s SK Light division, with 2 wins and a career best
5th place finish in the points standings. Spencer will follow a long list
of competitors who have made the move from the SK Lights to the SK Modified®
division, which includes Glen Reen, Michael Gervais, Jr., Chris Matthews,
Heather DesRochers, John Montesanto, Mark Bakaj, Adam Skowyra, Matt Gallo,

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Fresh from the ranks of the Wild Thing Kart Series
at Stafford Motor Speedway, Ronnie Williams will be moving into the SK Light
Modified division to run for Rookie of the Year honors in 2012. Williams
and his family have purchased the former No. 70 Brit Andersen car for the
upcoming season, so they have a proven commodity with which they will try to
claim the top rookie honors. Williams, who turned 15 after the completion
of the 2011 season, conducted a test session at Stafford the week after the
CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend, and all systems are go for his rookie season as
his No. 47 Advice One car was fast and comfortable in the test.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a 2011 season that saw Joe Nogiec and the #00
Adopt a Pet team post a career best 9 top-10 finishes as well as a career
best finish of 11th in the points standings, Nogiec and his team will look
to continue that forward trend in the 2012 season at Stafford Motor
Speedway. Nogiec will have a new car with which to carry on his momentum
from the 2011 season. Nogiec and his team have purchased the #38 car from
Gary Bienkowski that was driven to 5 wins and a second place finish in the
2011 standings by George Nocera, Jr, and they are looking forward the 2012

during the 2011 season, Salem, CT native Joe Gada is ready to make a run at
winning Rookie of the Year honors in Stafford’s SK Modified® division in
2012. Gada is the son of 7-time Waterford SK Modified® champion Dennis
Gada, and after making several starts during the 2011 season, he is looking
forward to building upon the experience he gained this season in preparation

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the release of a schedule that has seen many
new events as well as a few new twists and turns to it, Stafford Motor
Speedway has continued to expand its 2012 schedule with the addition of the
New England Truck Series to its 40th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend that
is scheduled for Sept. 28-Sept. 30. The New England Truck Series (NETS)
will be making only their second ever appearance at Stafford. The trucks
were first at Stafford as part of the PRA Big Car Series event in August
2006 that was won by Chris Correll. (more…)
