to Stafford on May 27th for the 21st Annual TSI Harley-Davidson 125, one
driver who will be looking to knock the door down to victory lane is Mike
Stefanik. Stefanik is the Tour’s all-time winningest driver with 70 career

Charities Event at Stafford Motor Speedway scheduled for June 28th is
building in momentum and excitement as the drivers gear up to raise funds
for their respective charities. The impressive field of open wheeled
division champion drivers represents over 50 championships among 14 drivers.
This week’s driver spotlight falls on Mike Stefanik, 7-time Whelen Modified
Tour Champion, who will be racing to help support Connecticut chapter of the

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway was back on track with a
5-division NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event on Friday night, May
13th. Ted Christopher picked up his first win of the 2011 season with a
dominating performance in the 40-lap SK Modified® feature event, Dillon
Moltz was the winner of the 30-lap Late Model feature, Tommy Barrett, Jr.
was the winner of the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature, George Nocera, Jr.
became the first repeat feature winner of the 2011 season with a victory in
the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature, and Andrew Hayes drove to victory in
the 15-lap DARE Stock feature. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For DARE Stock driver Josh Wood, the 2011 season at
Stafford has been nothing short of great. In his first two races, he has
finished third and second and he currently sits tied with his father Don in
the DARE Stock points standings. Last season was Wood’s rookie season in
DARE Stock competition and he posted two wins and finished 9th in the points
standings. But his rookie season was full of ups and downs, which Wood says
helped him become a better driver for the 2011 season. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a year away from racing at Stafford Speedway,
Norm Sears has returned to NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competition at
the Connecticut half-mile, and he is currently at the top of the Limited
Late Model standings after finishes of second and first in the first 2 races
of the season. The fact that Sears and the #71 Kar Kare Collision Center
team are leading the points after 2 races is quite the feat considering how
late Sears and car owner Barry Fluckiger put a deal together to race this
