Triple Charity Challenge Announced at DT100

unnamedScarborough, ME- In a surprise announcement during the driver’s meeting at the DT100, a benefit go-kart race at Maine Indoor Karting, the trio of David Thomas, Jr., Josh Vanada, and Shawn Sicard have created a benefit go-kart series, dubbed the Triple Charity Challenge (TCC).

THRILLING DAY FOR OPS GO-KARTS

Go-Kart racing returned for their second round of racing in the JARR Racing Photography Series, and a thrilling day of Karting was had by all. Overall winners included Austin Teras, Chris Dresser, Riley Corbridge, and Ben Burgess.

The Jr. Box Stock class kicked off the day with six karts racing  to the green. Ben Burgess captured the first feature ahead of Maddy Herrick and Logan Spencer. Burgess came right back to score the win in Round #2 as he defeated Jeremy Desrochers and Herrick. The Jr. Box Stock Overall top three were Burgess, Herrick and Logan Spencer. (more…)

The Little Engine that Could… GO RACING!!!

Kassidy Burton, travels every weekend from her home in Wiscasset, ME to Richmond Karting Speedway (RKS) so she can race her number 12 race kart. One thing that is very interesting about this little driver…… she is only 4 years old!!!
She got her idea to go racing when she went to watch a friend race. “Back in June when I saw my friend Connor Wenners race, I decided that I wanted to try too” Kassidy stated.
