Adopt a Pet team post a career best 9 top-10 finishes as well as a career
best finish of 11th in the points standings, Nogiec and his team will look
to continue that forward trend in the 2012 season at Stafford Motor
Speedway. Nogiec will have a new car with which to carry on his momentum
from the 2011 season. Nogiec and his team have purchased the #38 car from
Gary Bienkowski that was driven to 5 wins and a second place finish in the
2011 standings by George Nocera, Jr, and they are looking forward the 2012

2nd Annual ECS $5000 Challenge planned for Plattsburgh, NY

(Dec. 28, 2011) — Officials at East Coast Snocross (ECS) are working behind the scenes to put together The Second Annual ECS Challenge, a special high-purse race for riders in the Pro and Pro-Lite Divisions during the upcoming event at Crete Civic Center in Plattsburgh, NY on January 14 & 15, 2012. The ECS Challenge II ($5,000 Purse) will be a non-points, open format race with two rounds of qualifying on Saturday and the big event scheduled on Sunday. Gada, and after making several starts during the 2011 season, he is looking
forward to building upon the experience he gained this season in preparation

Three-Class Standout Kevin Chaffee is VT Motorsports Magazine Driver of the Year

CHESTER, VT – Capping a diverse season that saw him on the podium with the Sprint Cars of New England, the USAC Dirt Midget Association and the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds at Bear Ridge Speedway, “The Fairlee Flier” Kevin Chaffee of Fairlee, VT was voted by the readers of Vermont Motorsports Magazine as the 2011 Vermont Motorsports Magazine Driver of the Year.

The versatile Chaffee had a pair of wins in his first season behind the wheel of a Midget, despite racing only part of the USAC DMA schedule. A feature victory in the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds helped him finish fourth in Bear Ridge points and a solid SCoNE season saw success with an overall third place in the ultra-tight championship points battle.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway Recounts Top Five Stories Of 2011 Season

NASCAR sanction, youth vs. experience, changing of the guard among highlights

WEST HAVEN, VT — The 2011 stock car racing season was one with many important moments in Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The West Haven, VT track closes out one era as another begins, but not before a look back at the top five stories of the year.
5. Weather abbreviates racing: Mother Nature wreaked havoc on Vermont in 2011, and Devil’s Bowl wasn’t spared as seven races were lost including the final four events. Track management has offered Thor, the Greek god of thunder, a 2012 season’s pass in exchange for taking racing season off.

4. Spring Green is an instant classic: The American-Canadian Tour Late Models had a spectacular Devil’s Bowl debut at the Spring Green, and fans were treated to a thriller. Eleven lead changes highlighted the race including a 40-lap slugfest between Craig Bushey and eventual winner Brian Hoar. ACT opens the 2012 Devil’s Bowl season with the 112-lap Spring Green on May 6.

Granite State Pro Stock Series Prepares For Inaugural Season

Canaan, NH. — With the 2012 race season four months away, officials of
the newly formed Granite State Pro Stock Series are preparing for their
inaugural season. Series co-founders, Mike Parks and Jack Bateman, have
scheduled informational meetings the first week of January.

Parks and Bateman are bringing their town hall-type sessions to the
competitor to discuss their plans for the first year series, give competitors
the opportunity to discuss rules, race procedures, and the recently
announced schedule.
