Smoke smoked his competition, again, in his Sylvania 300 drive around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway mile.

Tony Stewart won another fuel economy run on Sunday at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the second week in a row. He inherited the lead from Clint Boyer who ran out of gas just a few laps from the finish. Brad Keselowski, Greg Biffle, Jeff Gordon and Brian Vickers got the leftovers, second through fifth. Kenseth, Boyer, Regan, Carl Edwards and Montoya completed the top ten. As a result of his win Stewart leads The Chase points by +7. In victory lane he told the interviewer that “Coming into this race we had a good opportunity. We also got rid of some dead weight during the week and things should be better. Close to the end of the race, I saw Boyer slow down and I knew he ran out of gas. I said to Oh no! He had a better car than us! The engine and chassis from Hendrick was working out well. (more…)

DJ Shaw back in PASS Winner’s Circle at White Mountain

North Woodstock NH (9/23) DJ Shaw battled a pair of Clarks in Saturday nights’ Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North/National 150 to claim the victory at his home track, North Woodstock NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park

The victory was Shaw’s third PASS North career win and his first since 2008. Johnny Clark came one step closer to a fourth consecutive PASS North title, finishing second. and Brad Babb backed up his strong run in the Beech Ridge PASS 300 with his first PASS podium in third.

LOUDON, N.H. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., finished fifth in the ACT Late Model Tour’s 3rd annual ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 24. After a brief, rain-shortened practice session in the morning, Hoar started 26th in the 43-car field. He drove his way to the Top-10 by the halfway point of the race and continued his march to the front, but a tight handling race car halted his march on a couple of late restarts. Hoar and his RPM Motorsports team recently secured an unprecedented eighth ACT Late Model Tour championship two weeks ago and will run the 49th People’s United Bank Milk Bowl at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt. on Sunday, October 2nd.

Eddie MacDonald Wins Thrilling ACT Invitational at NHMS

Loudon, NH – Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts claimed his second American Canadian Tour Invitational after a thrilling battle with Barre, Vermont’s Nick Sweet at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH on Saturday, September 24. MacDonald and Sweet swapped the lead four times over the final 15 laps of the 50 mile event on the “Magic Mile.” The race wasn’t decided until the final corner, when MacDonald edge Sweet coming off turn four to take the checker and the $4,000 pay day.
