LOUDON, N.H. (July 8, 2011) -It sounds like the NFL players and owners are finally finding a way to preserve the 2011 football season. After about 115 days of accusations, lawsuits, counterclaims and lots of hyperbole regarding the end of football as we knew and enjoyed it, both sides are talking and both sides are sounding upbeat.

The latest media reports indicate a deal may be done within the next few days. One thing that hasn’t been a priority in the battle over billions is the most important part of any professional sport: the fans.

Thompson, CT (July 7, 2011): A hot summer night proved to be fitting for the racing action at Thompson International Speedway on Thursday night. The only thing hotter than the mercury was Danny Field. The Deep River, CT, driver remains undefeated in Mini Stock action during the 2011 season as he scored his seventh straight victory. Thompson Speedway hosted the Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA) for the annual Marvin Rifchin Memorial event. Mike Horn of Ashland, MA, made a bold move on the opening lap that proved to be the winning one.
