PASS North super late models return to Star Speedway Saturday

Naples ME (5/10) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North super late models begin a two week run of bull ring racing on Saturday May 14 when the the series returns to the Weber family’s Star Speedway/ for 150 green flag laps. The racing is fast and close at the Epping New Hampshire oval, and the venerable quarter mile will deliver an exciting, action packed feature from green to checkers.

Monadnock Speedway Young Guns Racing Division for a second
year.

Orange, MA : Pete’s Tire Barns of Orange, MA has once again partnered with the Monadnock Speedway

in Winchester, NH to become the exclusive tire provider of the Young Guns (Youth League) racing division.

The Pete’s Tire Barns Young Guns will be running on Bridgestone Fuzion HRI tires throughout the 2011 racing

season. As part of the sponsorship, each Young Guns race car will feature a Pete’s Tire Barns sponsorship

sticker and the drivers can purchase the 195/60R14 and 195/65R15 tires for their race car at discounted prices.

The Young Guns racing division (ages 12-15) at the Monadnock Speedway allows the young drivers the

SUNOCO MODIFIEDS TO BENEFIT FROM BIG DOLLAR INCREASE THIS THURSDAY AT THOMPSON

THOMPSON, CT. The Sunoco Modified division will see a big increase in their race pay off this Thursday thanks to LaFramboise Well Drilling and Water Service of Thompson. The winner of this week’s 30-lap main event will receive $2,000.00 for their efforts and just about everyone else will see additional money thanks to the local well drilling and water service company. This race, like all at Thompson, is open to any Sunoco Modified type car that races in Connecticut.

Joe Krawiec Takes Dirt Midget Ass’n Opener at Bear Ridge Speedway

BRADFORD, VT – What was scheduled to be a test and tune session for five of the 20 cars registered with the Dirt Midget Association turned into an impromptu competition, when Bear Ridge Speedway promoter Butch Elms surprised the group by hosting a 10 lap exhibition race.

Joe Krawiec, the 2010 Midget Champ at Whip City Speedway, continued his winning ways by claiming victory in the event, which ran from green to checkers without a yellow flag. NEMA Midget competitor and former stock car driver Jeff Horn was second, New England Auto Racing Hall of Famer Ray Miller came home third in his Midget debut, Speedway Illustrated Magazine editor and frequent Valenti Modified Racing Series competitor Karl Fredrickson finished fourth and 2009 Waterford Speedbowl X-Modified champ Dean Christensen was fifth.
