Valenti Modified Series Ready For Monadnock Spring Dash
Canaan, NH. — The April tradition of the Valenti Modified Racing Series appearing at
Monadnock Speedway, Winchester, (NH) continues Saturday night, April 30, when the
popular touring division, now in it’s eighth year, invades the Monadnock Speedway,
Winchester, (NH), for the running of the “Spring Dash 100.” The annual event is the

5-TIME SK MODIFIED® CHAMPION BOB POTTER TO SERVE AS GRAND MARSHAL OF 40TH ANNUAL CARQUEST TECH-NET SPRING SIZZLER
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that 5-time
SK Modified® track champion Bob Potter will serve as the grand marshal of
the 40th Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler. 40 years after Potter
took the green flag in the very first Spring Sizzler and finished 9th, he
will send the Whelen Modified Tour field on its way this year with the most

Charities Event at Stafford Motor Speedway scheduled for June 28th is
building in momentum and excitement as the drivers gear up to raise funds
for their respective charities. The impressive field of open wheeled
division champion drivers represents over 50 championships among 14 drivers.

SHARK CYCLE RETURNS AS TITLE SPONSOR OF SEPTEMBER MODIFIED RACING SERIES EVENT AT STAFFORD SPEEDWAY
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the second consecutive season, the Modified
Racing Series will make a September appearance at Stafford Motor Speedway
with race title sponsorship from Shark Cycle of Stafford Springs. Last year
’s Shark Cycle race was the first ever appearance by the Modified Racing
Series at Stafford and the race was won by Ted Christopher, who is Stafford’

Waterbury, VT – Veteran racers Jamie Aube from Bow, NH and Mike Bruno from Rutland, VT have announced that they will both be returning to their racing roots, Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont for the 2011 season.
“This is great news for Thunder Road fans and competitors,” said Tom Curley, promoter at Thunder Road for the past 32 seasons. “This is like having part of the family returning home. Jamie started his career at Catamount Stadium in Milton, VT and at Thunder Road. He was a main-stay on the old NASCAR NORTH Tour we started back in 1979. Mike left his many years of racing with his dad on dirt tracks, and began his first ever asphalt race at Thunder Road in 1995.”
Aube was 7th all-time with 237 starts on the former American Canadian Tour (ACT) Pro Stock Tour, where he finished second (2nd) in point standings in 1987. He also won seven (7) major events on the former ACT series. Aube went on to become a 3-time NASCAR Busch North (now K&N Pro Series East) Champion, compiling 9 Busch North wins along the way. He has won the TD Bank 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway two times, in 1987 and 1989. (more…)
