Lexington, CT: The eighth annual 109 U-Pull It John Blewett III Memorial North-South ShootoutTM has taken center stage among the brethren of the short track racing community. With the cars and stars from both the open-wheel and full-fendered ranks preparing for the annual event, the buzz has spread from east to Midwest. Teams scheduled to compete in the North-South Shootout on November 5&6 hail from New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan, and more.
PASS North Banquet of Champions set for January 14th
NAPLES ME (10/29) The Pro All Stars Series will celebrate its tenth anniversary season on Friday evening January 14th at Howard Johnson (formerly Verillos) Convention Center at 155 Riverside Street in Portland, Maine. (Exit 48 off the Maine Turnpike).
The evening will get underway with a social hour from 6:00 until 7:00 PM, followed by the dinner. Award ceremonies will begin promptly at 8:00 PM, followed by dancing to DJ Jesse Butler until 11:30 PM. (more…)
C&C Racing Promotions & Masters TV Join to Broadcast North-South Shootout
Lexington, NC (October 27, 2010): C&C Racing Promotions has reached an agreement with Masters Entertainment Services to broadcast the Eighth Annual 109 U-Pull It John Blewett III Memorial North-South ShootoutTM scheduled for November 5&6, 2010 at Concord Speedway in Concord, NC. The tape delayed broadcast will air on Fox Sports South.
Waterbury, VT – Randolph’s Dylan Smith recently returned from his second NASCAR Drive for Diversity Combine at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Virginia. The 18 year-old Thunder Road Late Model competitor spent three days last week (Oct. 17-19) trying out for the Revolution Racing team that competes in the NASCAR K&N Pro East Series and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. McKennedy Wins Modified Racing Series Titles, Masse Nabs Lee Finale
Lee, N.H. — It was a strange finish to the season. Four hours after Flagman John Spence Jr. dropped the green flag to start the race, Steven Masse of Bellingham, MA, passed under the checkered flag to capture the season ending “Oktoberfest 100” feature race, sanctioned by the Modified Racing Series, sponsored by Bob Valenti Automall.Com, at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, N.H., Sunday afternoon, October 24.
