NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour visit High Banks

Winchester, NH: Monadnock Speedway was forced to cancel their race program due to inclement weather this past Saturday. This is the fourth rain out this season. The Modifieds and Full Size Enduros which were scheduled to run July 10 will have a make-up race on July 31st due to the Whelen Modified Tour coming in this Saturday, July 17th.

This upcoming Saturday, the speedway will be bustling with fans from all over the Northeast as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour comes to the high banked ¼ mile. The Tour has not been to the speedway in nearly twenty years and will guarantee to keep all fans at the edge of their seat as the competitors try to master high banks. The event will have an earlier start time than usual with the NASCAR Whelen Modified competitors will have their 45 minute practice session at 1pm and will return to the track for their second round following the speedway’s regular divisions. At 5pm, the speedway will hold their division heat races as the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds will take to the track at 6pm for their time trials.

Winchester, NH: Every dad celebrating as a fan or competitor was treated to an old fashioned Saturday night asphalt show down at Monadnock Speedway this past Saturday. No matter which division you enjoy the most this evening would prove once again that there is no other place to see this much excitement for the family.

After a two week break due to Mother Nature the racers were all eager to get going, maybe some too eager! Hot weather and a warm breeze would set the tone for the nights races.

Winchester, NH: Due to the weather reports of severe storms and tornados this past Saturday, the management of Monadnock Speedway was forced to cancel the race event for the safety of all.

The cancellation set a very busy race schedule for the next two weeks. This Saturday, June 12th, the speedway will host a full venue of racing. The night will be filled with action from the Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Outlaw Pros, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Young Guns, 4-cylinder and Full Size Enduros along with visiting tours of the N.E. Truck Series and New England Antique Racers.

First Super Stock Win for Brooks

Winchester, NH: Mother nature would play a huge role with tonights feature events as rain shut down the remainder of the feature events just as the pro stocks were taking to the track. But some of the show had already been complete and fans had gotten a taste of fast wheel to wheel racing.

Young Guns were first in their 15 lap feature, which saw pole sitter JT Cloutier put down his first win of the season. Cloutier would set the pace and never look back, leading the race by 1/2 a track. Cloutier, when discussing the win thanked “Mom and Dad” and the folks at Big Boys Racing for some well made adjustments to get him here. Matt Parmenter would take second followed by Adam Manley and his Saturday night BMW.

Busy Night of Racing at Monadnock Speedway

After Mother Nature trounced on May 8, 2010 events this night produced action packed racing with thrills, spills, with a total of 10 features. Cool but clear night had fans filling the seats, but most did not sit for long because the action kept them on their feet.

Making the rubber fly heat racing started with the Mini Stocks, followed by the Allison Legacy Touring series, Super Stocks, then Pro 4 Modifieds, Outlaw Pro’s, Sportmans Modified, lastly the Mighty Monadnock full modified series.

Norm Wrenn Captures Second 2010 Win at Manadnock

Winchester, NH – May 15, 2010 – With 15 cars on hand, the RF Logic / Bot-L Gas Pro Four Modifieds of New England put on a fast paced show at Manadnock Speedway this weekend. The heat races went green to checkers without any cautions with George Sherman and Robin Berghman picking up the wins

Sherman and Phil Lausier lead the pack to the green in the feature. By the end of lap one Lausier was able to tuck in line for second but was feeling pressure from behind by #25 Tyler Anderson, who was followed by Brian Vincent, Rob Richardi, Jr., and Norm Wrenn.
