North Woodstock NH (9/11) Johnny Clark kicked in the jets with 50 laps to go in Sunday afternoons Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park, winning a side by side battle with DJ Shaw to take the lead on lap 131 and nip Shaw for his sixth PASS North win of 2011. Shaw led the majority of the 150 green flag laps but had to settle for second. PASS rookie Bryan Kruczek led his share of laps and raced home a strong third, with Alex Gingras and Lonnie Sommerville rounding out the top five.

THE STAR ISMA “CLASSIC” IS BACK THIS WEEKEND

White Mountain kicks off four race season finale
NAPLES ME (9/7) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North kicks off a busy four weeks with four races in a row as the weather cools down and the 2011 Championship races for all three PASS North divisions heat up.
Sunday September 11th is the rescheduled White Mountain Motorsports Park date. The 2:00 PM green will feature all three PASS North touring series plus a 40 lap Wildcat/Strictly feature.

Hudson N.H.-Billy Clement Sr. won the “Mighty” Mike Lewis Memorial race this past Monday Sept 5th at Hudson International Speedway.
The race honored the longtime Hudson/Star competitor who lost his life in a tragic accident while working on his racecar in the garage. Lewis was a fierce competitor who started racing in 1988 and by 1992 had honed his skills enough to win the championship in the Strictly Stocks division. His battles with Dean Weber for the championship that season were epic and tempers flared on a few occasions between the two. Lewis moved up to the Street Stock division after his championship and while the wins weren’t as plentiful as in the Strictly Stocks, the smile Lewis always had while at the speedway remained.

Hudson N.H. –Jay “the driver formerly known as The Battering Ram” Maki ran a flawless race in the thirty lap Outlaw main this past Sunday to pull down his second win of the 2011 racing season. Maki started fifth on the starting grid and by the fifth lap was going three-wide on the outside to pass Todd Warren who was running in first place and Ron Lord who had been in second trying to pass Warren. Lee, NH – The chase for the 2011 championships continued at Lee USA Speedway on Friday night, with Tony Carroll taking down the win in the Benson Lumber and Hardware-sponsored NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Small Block Supermodified feature event.
Carroll was running the main event in memory of his car owner, Paul Brown, who had passed away earlier in the week after a lengthy battle with illness. The extra motivation was just what the doctor ordered, as Carroll went flag to flag to score his first win of the year.
