Canaan NH (6/4) Andy Shaw reclaimed the lead on the final restart of Saturday night’s Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mod feature at New Hampshire’s Canaan Fair Speedway to earn his second win of 2011. Alan Wilson finished in the runner up spot with Leo Oliviera third, Scott McDaniel fourth and Bill Dixon fifth
Mark Lundblad Jr. and Shawn Austin brought the field to the green and Lundblad Jr. got the jump from the pole with Rich Ferreira racing up to second and Scott McDaniel third. Caution flew on lap four for a slowing Shawn Austin and when the green waved Ferreira got the best of Lundblad Jr. to take over the point. Alan Wilson followed Ferreira through with McDaniel third. Yellow flew on lap eight for a Billy Dixon spin, sending him to the tail of the lineup. (more…)
Winchester NH- The New England Race Truck Series makes their first appearance of five this Saturday, June 4, at the famed Thunder on the Mountain, Monadnock Speedway in Winchester NH along with a full schedule of racing including the Tour Type Modifieds, Maine Modifieds, Star Antique Racers and the regular weekly racing divisions. The June 4 date is the fourth scheduled race of the season, with the May 21st third race was canceled due to rain at Monadnock Speedway. (more…)

Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones of Steel Magnolia exploded onto the country music scene after winning season two of CMT’s ‘Can You Duet’ competition. The duo signed a record deal in 2009 with Big Machine Records and released their first single, “Keep on Lovin’ You,” which became the fastest-rising single by a male/female duo in country music history. NAPLES ME (6/1) The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Mods make their second start of 2011 Saturday night at Canaan (NH) Fair Speedway and the Mod squad is anxious to get back on track. More than a month has passed since the open wheel warriors have raced and its time to get their season started in earnest.
Bill Dixon and Andy Shaw each claimed a Canaan win in 2010. Scott McDaniel, Leo Oliveira, Alan Wilson and Jon Brill all have podium finishes at the Orange Road racing complex and they will be looking for more on Saturday night. (more…)
