Holyoke, Ma: Monadnock Speedway Competitors, Car Owners and Race Teams joined together on Saturday, November 20th at the Log Cabin located in Holyoke, Ma to celebrate the 2010 race season and officially crown the champions. Over 400 people were present to reflect on the 2010 season including the New England Truck Series who were in attendance to accept their hardware.
Michelle Cloutier, the speedway’s General Manager, welcomed the race teams and thanked all of them for their dedication and support throughout the 2010 season even in these tough economic times. She also addressed the teams on how they all work together to make the speedway one of the best and most competitive short track in the East. (more…)
Huge Purse Announced For Ricky’s Race At Canaan in 2011
W.Springfield, MA. – In a joint announcement last night, Valenti Modified Racing Series
President and founder, Jack Bateman, and retired racing great Donnie Miller Sr, disclosed, the annual event, Ricky’s Race For Kids, will carry a purse of $36,350, the largest payoff in the eight year history of New England’s premier modified racing series. NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES SECOND AMERICAN CANADIAN TOUR EVENT FOR 2011
Waterbury, VT – Building on the success of the past two ACT Invitationals, officials from New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) and the American Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today that the largest touring late model series will add a second event to the ‘Magic Mile’ in 2011.
The event will be presented as part of the IZOD Indy Car Series weekend on August 12-13, 2011 at the largest sports and entertainment facility in New England, the region’s only super speedway. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Division will join the ACT Late Models as part of an ‘ALL STAR’ weekend for short track racing, featuring full-fender ACT Late Models and the very popular open-wheeled NASCAR Modifieds. McKennedy Wins Modified Racing Series Titles, Masse Nabs Lee Finale
