Arena Bests North East Street Stock Tour Field at Speedway 51
GROVETON, NH – Joe Arena held off a hard-charging Chris Douton to pick up the win in the North East Street Stock Tour’s second event in the championship series, the Caron Fabrication 51, presented by L & L Riverside Inn, at Speedway 51 (NH).
Steve Kenneway led the field to green at the newly renovated facility in northern New Hampshire, after earning a plus-2 from his qualifying heat. Kenneway led the first three laps, before Geoff Rollins and Jim Boyle made contact on the front stretch, resulting in Boyle slamming hard into the wall, and leaving both with heavy body damage. Both cars would return to the track, as Kenneway had a new dancing partner on the front row in the form of Arena. Arena took command on the restart, and cleared Kenneway on the back stretch. Soon after, Kenneway’s Greener Blast Technologies/ Welch Welding and Truck Equipment Chevrolet would lose power, and Kenneway would retire from the race with transmission issues.

Lee USA Speedway 6/5/15 Race Report
Lee, NH – The Mr. Rooter Truck Series joined the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions on the card at Lee USA Speedway Friday night, with rookie driver Tyler Chapman of Mystic, CT taking down the win after an action-packed 25-lap main event for the truckers.
Chapman bolted out to the lead at the drop of the green, and with a best finish of sixth in the first four events of 2014, was looking to improve on that mark at “New Hampshire’s Center of Speed”. With challenges coming his way virtually every lap, the youngster held them all off and stayed out front from flag-to-flag to score his first career win.

Polewarczyk Takes Third Win of Season in People’s United Bank 100
West Haven, VT – Defending American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Champion Joey Polewarczyk Jr. took his third win of the season in the People’s United Bank 100 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, June 6.
Hudson, NH’s “Joey Pole” worked his way up from the seventh starting position and got inside Tour point leader Wayne Helliwell Jr. on lap 74 of the 100-lap event. Pole completed the pass a lap later and motored away to win a caution-free race.
“You never really expect a race to go caution-free, but with this Tour, it can happen,” Pole said. “100 laps is kind of a short race for us, so our plan was to try and get to the front as quick as we could. But in the beginning I was battling with Travis Stearns and couldn’t really make much ground. So I backed off for a little while, and finally said ‘let’s try it again’.
