THE STORY
GEORGIA, Vt. – Eight-time ACT Late Model Tour champion Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., attempts to add to his impressive Airborne Speedway resume when the ACT Late Model Tour heads to the Airborne 100 in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Saturday, May 18. Hoar has a series-record seven career wins at a track where he began his racing career in weekly competition, and the driver of the RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge Charger has 38 career ACT victories in all. This marks Hoar’s final Tour race before he plans to take a break from racing until later this summer as the veteran driver scales back to a part-time schedule in 2013.

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Jan. 14, 2013) – Two rising stars in northeastern snowmobile racing showcased their skills over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) joined forces with Quebec-based Super Competition Motorsport (SCM) at the famed Airborne Speedway.
New York native Corin Todd powered to victory in Saturday’s Pro Open final, then capped a big day by winning the first qualifying heat in the 2013 Triple Crown Series. Third-generation Vermont racer Lincoln Lemieux dominated Sunday’s Pro Open final to prevent a second straight sweep for Polaris. (more…)

Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour officials have announced a major inaugural weekend event for the 2013 season: The International 500. The landmark event will be run at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY on the weekend of July 20th and 21st.
The ‘500’ will be comprised of (300) three hundred laps for ACT Late Model Championship teams from throughout New England and Eastern Canada. The Late Model portion of the ‘500’ will be run similarly to Thunder Road’s famous Milk Bowl with (3) three 100-lap segments.

Brian Hoar Airborne Speedway Race Report
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Brian Hoar of Williston, Vt., finished fourth in the season-ending Fall Foliage 200 at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Sunday, October 7. Despite qualifying inside the Top-10, leading a race-high 80 laps and posting his eighth Top-5 finish in 10 starts this season, Hoar finished second in the final ACT Late Model Tour standings, just 16 points out of the championship. The RPM Motorsports No. 37 GossCars.com Dodge Charger used an early pit stop strategy to gain track position and was leading on a restart with 10 laps to go before finishing fourth.

AT Racing: ACT Late Model Tour
Austin Theriault Airborne Speedway Race Report
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, finished second in the ACT Late Model Tour season finale, the Fall Foliage 200 at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Sunday, October 7. Theriault started 22nd in the 30-car field, charged into the Top-10 by Lap 50 and closed out the 2012 ACT campaign with his eighth Top-5 finish in 10 races. The driver of the No. 57 Pelletier Ford Ford Fusion was the only driver in the series to finish inside the Top-10 in every race on the 2012 schedule.
