Morin sweeps Pro finals in Plattsburgh for East Coast Snocross Series,

PLATTSBURGH, NY (Jan. 10, 2011) – Quebec native Mathieu Morin put in one of the biggest performances of his eastern snocross career this past weekend, sweeping the Pro finals at Plattsburgh’s Crete Civic Center as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 2 on the nine-race 2011 campaign.
Morin, of Val-D’Or, fought tooth-and-nail with fellow Canadian Dave Allard in Sunday’s Pro Open final. After grabbing the Holeshot, Morin led the first nine laps until Allard snuck by with a slick move coming off Turn 2. (more…)
Ossipee, New Hampshire next stop for East Coast Snocross Series,

CHESHIRE, Conn. (Jan. 5, 2011) – It’s known as one of the most scenic parts of the beautiful Granite State, and residents there simply love the sport of snowmobiling.
After a combination event with the Quebec-based SCM circuit in upstate New York, teams and officials from East Coast Snocross (ECS) will head for Ossipee, New Hampshire, Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 15-16, for Round 3 on the nine-race 2010-2011 schedule.
Spectator gates will open at 10 a.m. each day, with racing getting under way at 11 a.m. Admission is $15 per day for adults, while children age seven and under will be admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes valid through the weekend will be available for an extra $10. (more…)

Top riders from Quebec will compete against ECS teams
PLATTSBURGH, NY (Dec. 30, 2010) – As the stars of snocross throughout New York and New England prepare for Round 2 on the East Coast Snocross (ECS) series, several racers north of the border are getting ready to go racing, as well.
Teams from the Quebec-based Super Competition Motorsport (SCM) snocross series will kick off their eight-race 2011 campaign on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 8-9, at the Crete Memorial Civic Center. (more…)

Morin, Poirier split Pro finals at Burke Mountain for East Coast Snocross series, Presented by Woody’s Traction & AMSOIL
EAST BURKE, VT (Dec. 13, 2010) – Veteran snowmobile racers Mathieu Morin and Danny Poirier split the Pro finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) kicked off its 2010-2011 racing season at the beautiful Burke Mountain Ski Resort.
Morin, (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) of Val-D’or, Quebec, dominated Saturday’s Pro Open final after a strong performance in qualifying. Former champion Danny Poirier (Hulten Speed Sports/Polaris) steadily worked his way to second at the finish, while Minnesota native Matt Piche (Hulten Speed Sports/Polaris) filled out the podium with a solid third place run.
