Dave Davis Motorsports Wants Another Crack At Series’ Biggest Track
DENVER, N.C. – Since he left the speedway back in July, Cody Hodgson has been champing at the bit for another crack at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
When the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East heads to the track for this weekend’s New Hampshire 125, Hodgson will get that crack. Practice and qualifying are slated for Thursday, weather permitting, with the green flag at 5 p.m. Friday afternoon. (more…)
Eddie MacDonald and the Grimm Racing team rebounded from a blown motor in practice on Thursday for the K&N Pro Series East New England 125 at NHMS but could not overcome a late race penalty to finish in ninth place on Friday. The NEMO-New England Mechanical Overlay Chevy ran in the fourth position when a lap 78 caution gave MacDonald the opportunity to pit for four new tires and return to the track as the last car on the lead lap. When the green flag waved, MacDonald was penalized for an improper line-up forcing a drive- through penalty. The Grimm Construction Chevy returned to the track
in the 28th position one lap down. The #71 quickly passed the leader Brett Moffitt to get the lap back and began a charge to the front but ran out of laps. (more…)
Joey Polewarczyk Jr disappointed in NASCAR K&N Pro-Series East Finish at NHMS
(Loudon, NH) – Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson, NH finishes in thirty-sixth place at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, July 15.
Joey had a solid qualifying effort enabling him to start in 17th place over all in the field of 36 cars. Once the green flag dropped, Joey was feeling the car out. Joey commented, “I was finding a line that I thought the car was the best in. The #61 Jack’s Auto Service, Poles Automotive, Fadden Racing Inc.Chevrolet was very tight at the onset of the race. New Hampshire Motor Speedway Race Report
LOUDON, N.H. – Cody Hodgson of Escalon, Calif., finished 16th in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East New England 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday, July 15. Hodgson struggled with a bad set of tires in qualifying that would give him the 34th starting position. After making some adjustments and getting a new set of tires, Hodgson began pushing forward into the Top-20 to bring the Dave Davis Motorsports No. 03 Ocala Gran Prix Dodge home 16th place in his first career race on an oval measuring a mile or more in length. The rally over the final half of the race helped Hodgson jump two spots in the K&N Pro Series East standings to ninth. (more…)
