rfvcderytThe Brockton based Wheels of Time will try to get the 2015 cruise night schedule off to a start at the Raynham Taunton Park on Rt. 138 in Raynham on Thursday night, April 9 at 4 p.m.. They will continue to run every other Thursday starting on April 23, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13, August 27, September 10. The club’s annual car show is set for Sunday, September 20 with a rain date of Saturday, September 26. That club will wind up the 2015 season with two more cruise nights set for Thursday’s September 24 and October 8. Some of these dates could change due to rain outs. The move to Raynham Park a few years ago, from Southeastern Regional Votec in Easton, gave the Wheels of Time almost unlimited parking spaces and this cruise night continues to grow.

Busch Finishes 14th at Martinsville

rtttryKurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), finished 14th in the Martinsville 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

Busch started the race from the 26th position but was able to make passes early and often throughout the 500-lap race, despite struggling with handling issues that at times saw his Haas Automation Chevrolet loose entering the corners, tight in the center and loose on exit. He raced his way to the lead on lap 134, and he held the point for 21 laps before fading as his handling woes worsened.
