Eddie MacDonald Kicks Off NASCAR K & N Season at Bristol Motor Speedway in April

When Eddie MacDonald takes the green flag to open his NASCAR K & N Pro Series East season at Bristol it will be as defending champion after posting the impressive win last year in the Pittlite 125. The Grimm Construction/Multiple Sclerosis Society Chevy piloted by the veteran racer started 13th in the event last season and had the crowd on its feet as Eddie Mac drove to the front in a door to door battle with Ben Rhodes to lead the final two laps for the win. The Rowley, Mass. driver is entering his 15th year in the series and will start in his 183rd race with hopes to repeat last year’s performance.

Rob Fuller Motorsports Announces Second Whelen Modified Car

gdfgdfgdSHREWSBURY, Mass. (March 25, 2015) – Rob Fuller Motorsports will run a second car in select races during the 2015 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT). Ron Silk will drive the No. 40 15-40 Connection Chevrolet for the team.

“I feel it is very important for us as a company to continue to develop our product line,” said Rob Fuller, owner of LFR Chassis and Rob Fuller Motorsports. “Ronnie has a great deal of experience in this division and will be a great pilot for our car as we try different set ups and test different packages and pass along the data to our LFR Chassis customers.”

Richard Childress Racing’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series history at Martinsville Speedway

asfaf146 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Martinsville Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has earned four pole awards and posted seven victories with drivers Dale Earnhardt (five times), Ricky Rudd (1983) and Kevin Harvick (2011). RCR Chevrolet teams have earned 28 top-five and 56 top-10 finishes at Martinsville dating back to the team’s first start there on April 10, 1972. RCR teams boast a 16.7 average starting position, an average finishing position of 15.8 and have completed 68,486 of the 73,183 contested laps (93.6 percent) at the paperclip-shaped race track. Richard Childress, a former driver in NASCAR’s top division, contributed four of those top-10 finishes from 1976-1978.

GORHAM INHERITS SPORTSMAN WIN – BLACK, SYMONS & SKINNER GET VICTORIES AT NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY

hjlknWeek number two of the NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series at New Smyrna
Speedway produced some great racing with a nice crowd enjoying both the
top-notch action and some fantastic weather to go along with it.
For the second week in a row, 19 Sportsman cars signed in to do battle on the
high banks including most of the ones that had been damaged in last week’s big
wreck that claimed over half the field.
