SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Bobby Timmons III of Windham, Maine, finished 18 in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 40 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 13. Timmons was involved in the race’s only caution period on Lap 10, when he got together with another car in Turn 4. Significant suspension damage forced Timmons to retire early from the event.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Race Report
SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Dan McKeage of Gorham, Maine, finished seventh in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 40-lap feature event at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 13. As the division point leader, McKeage started 17th in the 18-car field, and he was solidly into the Top-5 by the midway point of the race. Shortly after taking over the fourth spot on Lap 24, the Naughty 40 Racing No. 40 Top Gun Construction Chevrolet developed a problem in the left front suspension. SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Bobby Timmons III of Windham, Maine, finished a career-best third in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. Timmons started seventh in his second career start in the marquee event of the season for the Pro Series division, and he patiently logged laps inside the Top-10 until first cracking the Top-5 at the 75-lap mark. He capitalized on a late-race restart to gain much-needed track position and pull out the podium finish. It was the first race in a four-day span for the driver of the Mulkern Racing No. 48 Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Timmons Machine Dodge, as Timmons returns to Beech Ridge for the Miller Lite 50 on Tuesday, July 2.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Dan McKeage of Gorham, Maine, finished sixth in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. McKeage pitted on multiple occasions to make chassis adjustments on the Naughty 40 Racing No. 40 Top Gun Construction Chevrolet and work his way into the Top-10 in the late going. On a final green-white-checkered restart, McKeage got a good restart on the outside lane and was able to fight his way up to sixth at the finish. The team discovered a mechanical issue on the rear end of the car during the post-race, and hope that repairs there will have them back up to speed for the Miller Lite 50 at Beech Ridge on Tuesday, July 2.

THE STORY
FALMOUTH, Maine – Bobby Timmons III of Windham, Maine, heads to the marquee event of the season with the running of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. Timmons and the Mulkern Racing No. 48 Southern Maine Chrysler Dodge Jeep/Timmons Machine Dodge posted a season-high finish of second in the track’s 50-lap Pro Series feature last weekend. Through the first four races of 2013, Timmons sits fifth in the point standings, only 13 points out of the lead, and he hopes that back-to-back podium finishes will provide the momentum needed to win the biggest race of the season for Beech Ridge’s top weekly division.

Dan McKeage Ready For Big Weekend
PASS Sportsman, NASCAR Pro Series Both On The Racing Docket
GORHAM, Maine – Two races in two nights, each of which suits Dan McKeage just fine.
The veteran driver from the Naughty 40 Racing stable out of Gorham, Maine, will compete in the PASS Sportsman 75 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, on Friday, June 28, and then head back to his home track for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series 100 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, June 29. McKeage already has a race win in both divisions this season, and he’s happy anytime he sees extra-distance racing pop up on the schedule.
