Alex Labbe Honored for 2014 Série ACT Title

ACTWaterbury, VT – Alex Labbe of St-Albert, QC was honored for his 2014 Serie ACT Championship during the annual Banquet of Champions at the Complexe des Seigneuries in St-Agapit, QC on Saturday, January 24. Labbe earned his first career Série ACT title with the help of three feature wins during the 2014 campaign. Dave Coursol of St-Jerome, QC was honored as the 2014 Série ACT Rookie of the Year. Steven Duguay of the Goulet team took home the Crew Chief of the Year honors. 200 guests were on hand for the awards ceremony, which honored the top drivers from the 2014 Série ACT season.

Lime Rock Park Names New Marketing Chief

fsdfsdLAKEVILLE, Conn. (January 26, 2015) – Christine DeMichael has joined the Lime Rock Park team as director of marketing.

Most recently the senior manager of marketing and event activation for NASCAR, prior to joining NASCAR DeMichael spent 14 years with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in marketing and production management.

Such was the case for the No. 10 Konica Minolta Corvette DP for Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) trio of brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor and their veteran Italian co-driver Max “The Ax” Angelelli.

Entries Arriving for 2015 Season 2013 Series Champ, O’Sullivan, Among First Registered

After running part-time last year following the birth of his third child, 2013 Champion Mike O’Sullivan is one of the first to register for the new season.

No Joke: Weatherly Earns NASCAR’s Highest Honor

fsdfsdDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 23, 2015) – Joe Weatherly’s time in NASCAR’s premier series was short, just two fulltime seasons.

But what an impact the Norfolk, Virginia, native had on NASCAR racing in those brief, 24 months.

Weatherly, previously a winner of American Motorcyclist Association and NASCAR modified titles, claimed back-to-back premier series championships in 1962-63. He posted 25 victories in 229 starts before his untimely death in January 1964 at Riverside (California) International Raceway.
