ACT TEAMS SCRAMBLE TO GET READY FOR OPENER
Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour (ACT) teams are looking forward to opening the season at the newly paved Albany-Saratoga Speedway in Malta, NY on Sunday, April 25. Many are a little bit anxious, having never seen the new track before. There was plenty of excitement when the announcement came last fall about the track going back to asphalt after over 30 years as a dirt CVRA (Champlain Valley Racing Association) track under the Richards family.

PASS at Speedway 95 postponed
Naples ME (4/16) Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have postponed the Sunday April 18th PASS North season open at Speedway 95 in Hermon Maine. The weekend forecast indicates on and off rain, snow, and cold temperatures for both Saturday and Sunday .PASS and Speedway 95 officials are currently reviewing their respective schedules to find a suitable makeup date for this event.
Both PASS and Speedway 95 hope that the early cancellation will eliminate unnecessary travel and allow race teams and fans to eliminate limit unnecessary travel expenses and allow all to make alternative plans for their weekend.

Joey Polewarczyk Jr.: ACT Late Model Tour
Lee USA Speedway Race Preview
Joey Polewarczyk Jr. will try and earn Ford Racing its first ACT Late Model Tour victory when he opens the 2010 season with the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., on Sunday, April 18. Polewarczyk enters his sixth season with ACT and has four career wins, including two at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, and he has finished inside the top-5 in nine of his last 24 starts. The 2008 winner of the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee, Polewarczyk finished second in the event last year.

Ben Rowe: PASS North Series
Speedway 95 Race Preview
4-time PASS North Series champion Ben Rowe of Turner, Maine, opens the 2010 season with the PASS 150 at Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine, on Sunday, April 18. Rowe will make his PASS North debut with Mulkern Racing, where he signed to drive the No. 48 during the offseason. He is trying to become the first 5-time PASS North Series champion and first driver to reach 40 wins in PASS Super Late Model history.

Johnny Clark: PASS North Series

4-time PASS North Series champion Johnny Clark of Farmingdale, Maine, opens the 2010 season with the PASS 150 at Speedway 95 in Hermon, Maine, on Sunday, April 18. Clark is attempting to become the first driver in series history to win both three consecutive championships and five total titles. Clark won PASS North titles in 2008 and 2009 and sits second on the all-time win list with 19 career victories. He’s won two of the last three series’ events held at Speedway 95.

Brent Dragon: ACT Late Model Tour
Lee USA Speedway Race Preview
Brent Dragon of Milton, Vt., opens the 2010 ACT Late Model Tour season with the NH Governor’s Cup 150 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H., on Sunday, April 18. Dragon, who has competed in the series since its inception 18 years ago, owns the most career starts (174) in ACT Late Model Tour history to go along with nine career victories. Though he’s yet to win the championship, the 3-time Airborne Speedway track champion has finished second in the final ACT standings on three different occasions.
