rfvcderytThe Brockton based Wheels of Time will try to get the 2015 cruise night schedule off to a start at the Raynham Taunton Park on Rt. 138 in Raynham on Thursday night, April 9 at 4 p.m.. They will continue to run every other Thursday starting on April 23, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13, August 27, September 10. The club’s annual car show is set for Sunday, September 20 with a rain date of Saturday, September 26. That club will wind up the 2015 season with two more cruise nights set for Thursday’s September 24 and October 8. Some of these dates could change due to rain outs. The move to Raynham Park a few years ago, from Southeastern Regional Votec in Easton, gave the Wheels of Time almost unlimited parking spaces and this cruise night continues to grow.

NEW ENGLAND MOTORSPORTS NORTH

tgbnhyThe American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will compete in three 150-lap events on three completely different tracks in all three northern New England states to open the 2015 season. The New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150, now re-set due to snow on April 28, is the usual traditional opening event for ACT teams held yearly at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH. Teams will now start off the 2015 season at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) in Oxford, ME on April 18 followed by their annual visit to Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT on May 3.

ACT/PASS Doubleheader to Open 2015 Season At Oxford Plains

vlf_2678Waterbury, VT –The announcement last November that there was an alliance between the American-Canadian Tour (ACT), a Northeast regional Late Model stock car division, and the Pro All Star Series (PASS), a Super Late Model Series that competes throughout the Northeast with PASS North and the Southeast with sister series PASS South, came as welcome news to many race fans and teams in New England and Quebec.

Fans And Racers Looking Forward To Easter Bunny 150 Welcome Party At Iron Thunder

IMG952439CHARLOTTE, NC (March 31) – To celebrate 10 years of one short track racing’s great events, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) fans and racers will have the opportunity to gather together Thursday night at Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill in Hickory for the Easter Bunny 150 Welcome Party. The event will be open to everyone starting at 6:30 PM and will give fans a chance to chat with some of their favorite racers and check out some of the cars that will be competing Saturday night at Hickory Motor Speedway. PASS Super Late Model, PASS Pro Late Model, and Must See Racing Sprint Car drivers and machines will be at Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill Thursday night, along with a live band, to help kickoff the 10th Annual Easter Bunny 150.

Gelinas Ready for 2015 Title Run Sets Sights on Season-Opening IceBreaker at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park

The 30-plus-year veteran gets behind the wheel any chance he can. This year, he’ll be chasing the 2015 crown in the Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS), as well as throwing his name in the hat in the Late Model division at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Gelinas will also run select ACT events, and attempt to qualify for the Oxford 250.
