CHARLOTTE, NC (June 8) – As the weather continues to heat up down south, so does the racing. For the first time in series history, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models will compete on back-to-back nights at Anderson Motor Speedway and Hickory Motor Speedway. The PASS Carolina Doubleheader will take place June 17-18 and will see the best Super Late Models in the south compete at two of the region’s most challenging speedways.
Anderson Motor Speedway in the South Carolina Upstate will host the Electric City Twin 125s on Friday night, June 17th and will feature both the PASS South Super Late Models and the Southern Modified Racing Series (SMRS) Tour Modifieds. Last year, Jared Irvan prevailed over Roger Lee Newton and Clay Rogers in one of the best races of the season. With the addition of the SMRS Tour Modifieds, fans of the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee will get their final opportunity to see two of the fastest divisions in racing compete together prior to the North-South Shootout at Concord Speedway in November. Filling out this exciting card of racing at Anderson Motor Speedway will be the USAC Eastern Midgets, B-M Modifieds, and Front Wheel Drive divisions. (more…)

NAPLES, ME (June 7) – After a two year absence, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will return to New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday afternoon for the Foley Oil Company 150.
The race for the 2016 PASS North Super Late Model championship is heated, with seven drivers within 68 points of one another heading to White Mountain this weekend. Of those seven drivers, four are former PASS North champions, led by current points leader and Granite State native, DJ Shaw.
Another former series champion, Ben Rowe, leads all drivers with 8 PASS North wins at White Mountain, but has not gone to victory lane there since 2008. 6-time PASS North champion Johnny Clark has also won at White Mountain, taking the checkered flag there en route to two of his championships in 2010 and 2011.
PASS Super Late Models Top Three – L to R: Travis Benjamin #7, 3rd; Winner Glen Luce #7L: and Wayne Helliwell #27, 2nd; with event sponsor Mikkelsen RV representative.
Barre, Vermont – Glen Luce of Turner, Maine claimed an emotional victory Sunday afternoon in the Mekkelsen RV 150 for Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models at Thunder Road international Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont.
Luce, coming off his best-ever season racing stock cars – a season that included a $31,000-plus win in the 42nd Annual Oxford 250 last August – took the lead from and then held off a longtime ACT Tour rival, Wayne Helliwell, Jr., of Dover, New Hampshire.
Helliwell, a multi-time ACT Late Model Tour champion, chased Luce under the checkered flag, earning his runner-up finish the hard way after starting dead last in the quick Super Late Model field. Travis Benjamin of Morrill, Maine nailed down a third-place finish.

Barre, VT – Tyler Cahoon made his first career Thunder Road Late Model win count on Sunday, May 29, holding off a late charge from Scott Dragon for the victory in the 54th Annual Mekkelsen Memorial Day Classic.
The Danville veteran took the lead from Matt White on lap 6 of the 100-lap event, just prior to the second and final caution for Brian Tarbell’s hard encounter with the turn one wall. Cahoon pulled out to a big lead in the middle stages, but had to fend off Dragon in the closing laps to secure the win. The former Street Stock Champion became the third driver in the last four years to score his first Thunder Road Late Model victory in the event.
Dragon settled for second, followed by former Memorial Day Classic winner Jason Corliss in third. Trampas Demers took fourth, while Nick Sweet made a late charge to finish fifth. Brooks Clark, John Donahue, Kyle Pembroke, White, and Cody Blake rounded out the top-10.
NAPLES, ME (May 25) – After a thrilling debut last year, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models are set to return to Vermont’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl this Sunday afternoon at 1:30 PM. In addition to 150 laps for New England’s fastest racers, the 54th Annual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic will feature 100 laps for Thunder Road’s ACT Late Models, plus the PASS Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Tigers.
Center Conway, NH’s DJ Shaw has had a solid start to the 2016 PASS North season, currently sitting second in points on the strength of a win in the Southern Maine Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. While Shaw is happy with his results so far, the 2014 PASS North champion believes he and his team can be even better.
