McKeage qualified fourth in the Naughty 40 Racing No. 40 Top Gun Construction/J.P. & Family Roofing Chevrolet, but the same strong car he had throughout the day never materialized once feature racing began. McKeage will round out his weekend with a 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series race at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Saturday, July 20.

40th Annual TD Bank 250 Attracting Drivers From Across North America

PASS RacingNAPLES, ME (July 16) – Ever since the first TD Bank 250 was held at Oxford Plains Speedway in 1974, it has attracted not only the best short track racers from New England, but from across North America. In that first event won by Joey Kourafas, the precedent was set that short track racing’s best would assemble at Oxford for the 250. In addition to the talented group of drivers from New England in the field that day, Southern aces Bosco Lowe and 1963 Daytona 500 winner Tiny Lund competed along with a strong group of Canadian drivers led by Jean Paul Cabana. In fact, the early years of the TD Bank 250 were dominated by Southern drivers such as Butch Lindley, Bob Pressley, and Tommy Ellis. The first Canadian to taste TD Bank 250 glory was Don Biederman in 1977.

PASS North Prepares For TD Bank 250 Tune Up This Weekend At Oxford

PASS NorthNAPLES, ME (July 9) – After nearly two months off due to rainouts, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models were finally able to get back on track during the Fourth Of July weekend holiday at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Now, focus shifts to two big weekends of racing at Maine’s legendary Oxford Plains Speedway. This Friday night, the PASS North Super Late Models hit the track at Oxford for race number 5 of the 2013 season. In addition to being a make-up race for the rained out events at White Mountain Motorsports Park and Speedway 660, this weekend’s 150 lapper will serve as a major tune up for the 40th Annual TD Bank 250 to be held at Oxford Plains Speedway just over a week from now.

PASS North teams will not only be trying to focus on Friday’s nights race and the implications it holds towards this year’s championship battle, but will also start formulating strategies for the TD Bank 250. Beech Ridge winner Cassius Clark comes to Oxford as the only two-time PASS North winner in 2013 and knows a good run on Friday night can set a team up as the favorite heading to next weekend’s $25,000 to win TD Bank 250.
