Lee, NH. — Richard Savary, of Canton, Massachusetts, scored his fourth win of the season Sunday afternoon winning the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series ‘Oktoberfest 100’ at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, New Hampshire.
Savary’s victory was his second this season. He won a 100-lap event at Lee on June 27. Savary ties Andy Seuss with 5 career wins.
Canaan, NH. – When the Valenti Modified Racing Series visits New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway this weekend, 19-year old Tommy Barrett, of Millis, Mass, looks to do something never done before, and win his third consecutive ‘Oktoberfest 100’ when the series competes in the 30th annual Oktoberfest weekend, Saturday and Sunday,
All eyes will be on Barrett and the top two point men in the series standings, Justin Bonsignore, of Holtsville, New York, and reigning champion Rowan Pennink, of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.
Canaan, NH. — Three races remain on the Valenti Modified Racing Series and the series championship could go right down to the wire.
The first event takes place this weekend, Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5, at Waterford Speedbowl, Waterford, CT. The two-day event sets the stage for another season ending showdown for the title.
Stafford Springs, CT. – 19-year old Tommy Barrett, of Millis, MA, used a daring three-wide pass on a lap-57 restart, to go on and win the Valenti Modified Racing Series sanctioned 80-lap race Friday night at Stafford Motor Speedway, Stafford, CT.
Winchester, NH. – It didn’t have the dramatic finish like last weeks race at Seekonk, but it had the same result, a large vocal crowd greeting the race winner, this time fan favorite 41-year veteran Dwight Jarvis, when he exited his race car. Jarvis had just won the annual Valenti Modified Racing Series sanctioned ‘Victor Johnson Memorial 100’ and the Monadnock Speedway crowd let him know they liked what they saw.
Seekonk Next For Valenti Modified Racing Series
Canaan, NH. – With the month of August in high gear, the Valenti Modified Racing Series travels to Seekonk (MA) Speedway, Saturday night, August 16, for another 100-lap green flag race, the series final appearance of the season at the Route 6 oval.
Justin Bonsignore, of Holtsville, NY, driver of the Art Barry Spearpoint Racing # 21 continues to lead the point’s standings, thanks to his fifth runner-up finish last weekend at Waterford, CT.
The Bonsignore/Barry team is an expected entry for Seekonk.
