Canaan, NH. – Coming off a highly competitive race a week ago at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire, The Valenti Modified Racing Series heads to the famed Seekonk Speedway, Seekonk, MA, this Sunday afternoon May, 4, for the first of three appearances this season for New England’s premier open-wheel racing series, at the historic Bay State facility.
The event, the Sims Spring Kickoff Classic, the 24th appearance by the series at Seekonk, will feature a 100-lap green flag modified race with drivers from throughout the Northeast expected.

Canaan, NH. – Sitting at a desk Tuesday afternoon looking over notes saved in case he needed to refer to them one day, Kirk Alexander, the Valenti Modified Racing Series all-time winner at 31 victories, was trying to find the right set-up, the magic that worked for him so many times in the past, the magic he hopes he can create again when he climbs into the John Corliss owned, Trader John Guns sponsored, # 88 modified race car, on Saturday night, April 19, at Monadnock Speedway, Winchester, New Hampshire.
Alexander, of W. Swanzey, NH., will be filling the seat of long-time archrival Jim Boniface who is battling a courageous fight with cancer. It’s a situation Alexander knows all to well. He lost a brother to the disease in 2008.

Canaan, NH — With the 2014 season already drawing closer by the day, Valenti Modified Racing Series officials have announced the addition of two key members to the officiating team for the new season.
Long-time official Warren Alston of Trenton, New Jersey, and Robert Rund, of Medway, Massachusetts, joins the series in the spring.
Mr. Alston brings a long and storied history in motorsports at both a premier flagging level and as one the top safety officials in the region.
Fresh off a seven-year run as the chief starter and safety inspector for the NASCAR K&N East Series, Mr.Alston is also the chief starter and safety coordinator for Lenny Sammons Productions and all of their Indoor Racing events in Atlantic City, Baltimore, Providence and Trenton.

Manchester, NH. — Rowan Pennink, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, was officially crowned series champion Saturday night as the Valenti Modified Racing Series closed out its 2013 campaign and 10th anniversary season. The event was held at Best Western Executive Inn, Manchester, NH.
Pennink and car owners Gary and Kim Casella were presented the series top honors for the first time.
Commemorating the series 10th season, Pennink and the Roscoe Racing/ Casella team were presented a check for $10,000 by series president and founder Jack Bateman.
Pennink becomes the VMRS fifth series champion, an honor that the Pennsylvania driver appreciates.

Canaan, NH. — With the 2013 Series Championship decided last weekend at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, NH, the Valenti Modified Racing Series moves to Thompson Speedway, Thompson, CT, this weekend as the series 10th anniversary season draws to a close.
For the second year, the famed speedway will host the series as part of their annual World Series of Speedway Racing this Saturday night, October 19. Last season the Saturday night race was well received by fans and competitors.
The newly crowned champion, Rowan Pennink of Huntingdon Valley, PA, will seek to win back-to-back races as he captured the inaugural event a year ago. Pennink, with the stressors of a championship run over, is looking forward to the season finale.
