USAC Dirt Midgets return next week

BRADFORD, VT –Persistent showers, heavy at times, forced the cancellation of R&M Automotive night at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, VT on Saturday.

Up this Saturday is Vermont Food Bank Benefit Night for the ROCK99 Weekly Racing Series. The card will be jam-packed with the weekly Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modified, Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupe, Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Model, Weglarz Property Service Fast Four, and KDD NAPA Auto Parts Hornet divisions, plus the USAC Dirt Midget Association all in competition.

Racing continues this Saturday, May 18th and every Saturday through September at Vermont’s only Dirt Track. Admission for Vermont Food Bank Benefit night is $10 for adults (age 18-61), $8 for teens (12-17) and seniors (62+), and $2 for children; Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time.

Bear Ridge Speedway is located on Kidder Road in Bradford, VT, just off Exit 16 on Interstate 91.

BRADFORD, VT –The track is prepped, the facility spruced up and the competitors revved up to get the green Saturday, May 4th after the annual Home Depot car show in West Lebanon, NH created a major buzz with over 100 vehicles in attendance.

Opening night for the 99Rock Weekly Racing Series could set the tone for the season for a few lucky competitors as double points will be on the line for all six divisions, making the action doubly exciting.

Show creates excitement and anticipation

BRADFORD, VT –The Home Depot in West Lebanon, NH will once again be the home to the 12th annual Upper Valley car show on April 27th. After a winter of preparation the fans will get to see the all the new cars and paint schemes unveiled in anticipation of an action packed season. The show always provides a few suprises for competitors and fans alike.

 

Competitors from all six of the 99ROCK  Bear Ridge Speedway weekly divisions, which consist of the Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Models, the USAC Dirt Midgets, the Weglarz Property Management Fast Fours and the KDD NAPA Ridge Runner Hornets are expected to be on hand. Also expected to be in attendance are some of the Sprint Cars of New  England and the Granite State Mini Sprints, both of which visit Bear Ridge numerous times over the season.

Bear Ridge Speedway Riding Momentum to Season Opener

BRADFORD, VT – Bear Ridge Speedway is nearly ready to usher in its 46th consecutive season on Saturday, May 4th, and if early registrations are any indication, the opening night field will eclipse last years record setting numbers. Once again improvements are underway to help accommodate the competitors and fans for the double points opening night, sponsored by KDD NAPA of Bradford.

Most of the six divisions in the 99ROCK Weekly Racing Series have once again seen healthy growth. There are a number of rookie teams and some returning veterans in the Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds and the Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes. The Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Models look poised for a breakout year with many new competitors, including a couple of Females. (more…)

BRADFORD, VT – Bear Ridge Speedway’s recent growth spurt has not slowed any during the winter off-season. New England’s premier dirt stock car track – the only track in North America with weekly racing divisions sanctioned by both the prestigious DIRTcar and USAC organizations – has seen an unprecedented transformation with competitor counts tripling in the last five years.
