Trevor Sanborn of Parsonsfield, Maine, returns to his home track at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, for the PASS North Series 150 on Saturday, July 10. Sanborn has won two NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series feature events at the track already this season, and the two-time PASS South Series race winner hopes to notch his first career PASS North win this weekend. After leading three times for a race-high 99 laps when the series first visited Beech Ridge back in May, Sanborn finished fifth — the first of three top-5 finishes in five starts. He’ll take the same car back to the track this weekend that he led with in May.

Stafford Springs, CT – July 6, 2010 – With 17 cars on hand, the RF Logic/Bot-L Gas Pro Four Modifieds of New England were the opening act for Stafford Motor Speedway’s Carquest Extreme Tuesday Event. Adam Norton and Norm Wrenn took the checkers in their respected heat races.

Phil Lauiser brought the field to the green on the initial start of the feature, but it wasn’t long before Rob Richardi, Jr. was able to make the pass for the lead. By lap two 11th place starter, George Sherman, was up to 5th place while Adam Norton and Tyler Anderson were also on the move through the pack.

Beech Ridge a key stop in the heart of the 2010 PASS North schedule

NAPLES ME (7/7/10) Mother Nature has turned up the thermostat and so has the Pro All Stars Series as the toughest month of the super late model schedule moves on to Scarborough Maine’s Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on Saturday July 10. Beech Ridge is the second stop of a five race month for the super late models and it’s likely that many teams will measure thei seasons’ success based on their results in July.

The family focused oval produces some of the closest racing around and the Beech Ridge Pro Series regulars that often come out to challenge the touring teams are always competitive. 2009 track champion Mike Rowe, Aaron Ricker, Chuck Colby, and a whole lot more are well capable of running up front. Former PASS North regular Mike Rowe whipped up on the field in the series’ first 2010 appearance at the immaculate Holmes Road oval. The 2006 PASS South Champion came from 28th in the field to deny Adam Bates and Ben Rowe the Sunoco checkered flag

Joey Polewarczyk Jr. of Hudson, N.H., heads to Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, N.Y., this weekend for the ACT Late Model Tour’s rain-delayed Spring Green 100 on Saturday, July 10. The race was originally scheduled for May before weather postponed the event. Polewarczyk is looking for his first career top-10 finish at Airborne, and it wouldn’t come at a better time. After finishing seventh in a 40-lap weekly event at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, last weekend, Polewarczyk is looking for his third straight top-10 finish with his Ford crate engine. With Airborne’s long straightaways over its half-mile layout,
Polewarczyk joins the Ford camp in hoping this is a track where this engine package will shine.

SCORE CARQUEST EXTREME TUESDAY FEATURE WINS AT STAFFORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Tuesday night, July 6th, was the 7th annual
CARQUEST Extreme Tuesday program at Stafford Motor Speedway. Mike Ordway,
Sr. won the 50-lap ISMA Supermodified feature, Randy Cabral won the 30-lap
NEMA Midget feature event, and Norm Wrenn made it three in a row at Stafford
by taking the 25-lap Pro-4 Modified feature event.
In the 50-lap ISMA Supermodified feature event, Bobby Magner took the early
lead with Danny Lane, Eddie Witkum, Jr., and Jeff Locke behind him. Rob
Summers spun and found the turn 1 wall to bring the caution out with 1 lap
