BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 9, 2015) – NASCAR Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Brian France announced today that Mike Helton has been named Vice Chairman of NASCAR and Chief Operating Officer Brent Dewar has been added to the NASCAR Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Helton has served as NASCAR President since 2000 and has been with the sanctioning body in various roles since 1994. In his new capacity, Helton will remain the senior NASCAR official at all national series racing events overseeing competition, work closely with France on long-term strategic planning and represent NASCAR in a wide-range of roles to further grow the sport. He remains a member of the board of directors.

A BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 30, 2015) – Five legendary drivers with distinct styles and contributions to NASCAR were enshrined into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina tonight during the Induction Ceremony held in the Crown Ball Room at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Those who added their names to the list of now 30 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductees, included: Bill Elliott, Fred Lorenzen, Wendell Scott, Joe Weatherly and Rex White.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The sliding, banging and the jumping of the Red Bull Global Rallycross will return to Daytona International Speedway on June 20-21, the second straight year the series has competed at the “World Center of Racing.”
Daytona International Speedway, which annually hosts stock cars, sports cars, motorcycles and karts, added rallycross to its 2014 event calendar with driver Rhys Millen capturing the inaugural event.
