Monadnock Speedway 2015 Season Preview

sadasdasda(Winchester, NH): With the longest winter in recent memory finally in the past, the snow has melted and the parking lot has finally dried out, the new backed seating area from the old Riverside Park Speedway has been completely installed and the track is ready for spectators as the drivers get ready to go racing once again on the ¼ mile high banked oval at Mondanock Speedway May 2nd.

Monadnock Speedway Champions Officially Crowned

gdfgdhWinchester, NH: This past Saturday, Monadnock Speedway held their Season Finale making the championship titles official in the NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series; Sportsman Modified Todd Patnode, Super Stocks Tom Carey III, Mini Stock Mike Stebbins, Lightning Stocks Kyle Boniface and Thunder Stocks Marshall Usher.

The Super Saturday Season Finale provided plenty of racing action as nine divisions took to the high banked ¼ mile. Victory lane checker flag honors went to Young Gun Solomon Brow, Lightning Stock Toby Wells, Thunder Stock Dave Greenslit, Super Stock Geoff Rollins and Sportsman Modified Scott MacMichael. Other winners included; Vintage Outlaw Ernie Laplante, NE Classic Lite Jim Poliquin, Pro 4 Modifieds Andy Major, Pro 4 Modified Lite Kyle Boniface, Powder Puff Alicia Springer and Spectator Race Ben Byrne.

Scott MacMichael Takes Down Win Three

downloadWinchester, NH: Scott MacMichael celebrated his third Sportsman Modified victory this past Saturday on the Victor Johnson Memorial Event after taking the lead on a lap 20 restart despite pressure from Todd Patnode. Tom Carey took the checkers for the Super Stock main event as did Mini Stock rookie Cameron Sontag. Other winners included Solomon Brow for his first career Young Gun, Lightning Stock Kyle Boniface and Marshall Usher in the Thunder Stocks. Veteran Dwight Jarvis show the Valenti Modified Racing Series how it is done taking the victory for their 100 lap feature event.

Monadnock Speedway Prepares for 2014

Winchester, NH: Even though the celebration is not over for Monadnock Speedway’s 2013 Sportsman Modified Champion, Bill Kimball, the speedway management has been busier than ever preparing for the 2014 season. Kimball will put his 2013 season to a close in Charlotte, NC when he proudly represents Monadnock Speedway and collects his hardware as the 2013 NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series New Hampshire State Champion .

While Kimball celebrates his 2013 accomplishment, back at the high banked ¼ mile oval, the speedway’s office has been receiving emails from competitors all over the New England region interested in calling Monadnock Speedway their home. The Sportsman Modifieds, the track’s NASCAR Whelen All American Racing Series Feature division, is growing as registrations and number reservations continue to be received. Most notable registration received to date has been from veteran driver, Jim Boniface, piloting a Sportsman Modified for car owner John Corliss. The Sportsman Modified field will also see plenty of talented Rookies joining the ranks as former Mini Stock Champion Kim Rivet will be driving for the Rivera Race Team. Two very talented teenagers will also be vying for the Rookie title, JT Cloutier who became the track’s youngest driver to win a feature in a NASCAR division has joined forces with Sontag Racing to pilot an open wheel as Trevor Bleau will take his experience from the Maine Modified Series and put toward his first year. In the other NASCAR divisions, there will be additions as many of the 2013 Young Guns, Cameron Sontag, Sonja Carey and Joe Collins to name a few, have graduated and confirmed that they will be moving to a higher class.

Monadnock Speedway’s Super Saturday

monadnockWinchester, NH: This Saturday, September 28th, Monadnock Speedway will host their traditional Super Saturday event to conclude the 2013 race season. The action-packed event will be filled with 8 divisions as visiting competitors will challenge the speedway’s home track competitors in extra distance showdowns to the checkers. Divisions on tap for the special event include; 50 Lap Sportsman Modified, 35 Lap Super Stock, 35 Lap Mini Stock plus the Lightning and Thunders Stock, Young Guns along with visiting divisions of the Pro 4 Modifieds and Vintage Outlaws. The 2013 Champions will be present to officially accept their titles and then do battle against each other in the very popular Great School Bus Race. The event also includes Spectator Races and Big Wheels race.

The event will begin at 2pm with School Bus rides around the track for all Kids starting at 1:30pm. Pit gates open at 9am with practice session starting at 11:30am. Main gate opens at Noon.
