PASS North Prepares For TD Bank 250 Tune Up This Weekend At Oxford

PASS NorthNAPLES, ME (July 9) – After nearly two months off due to rainouts, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models were finally able to get back on track during the Fourth Of July weekend holiday at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Now, focus shifts to two big weekends of racing at Maine’s legendary Oxford Plains Speedway. This Friday night, the PASS North Super Late Models hit the track at Oxford for race number 5 of the 2013 season. In addition to being a make-up race for the rained out events at White Mountain Motorsports Park and Speedway 660, this weekend’s 150 lapper will serve as a major tune up for the 40th Annual TD Bank 250 to be held at Oxford Plains Speedway just over a week from now.

PASS North teams will not only be trying to focus on Friday’s nights race and the implications it holds towards this year’s championship battle, but will also start formulating strategies for the TD Bank 250. Beech Ridge winner Cassius Clark comes to Oxford as the only two-time PASS North winner in 2013 and knows a good run on Friday night can set a team up as the favorite heading to next weekend’s $25,000 to win TD Bank 250.

Southern Maine Motors 150 Up Next For PASS North

PASS NorthNAPLES, ME (July 2) – Circles are pretty important in short track stock car racing. And unfortunately for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model division, the weather has seemed to be a never ending circle of rain, clouds, and race cancellations. The PASS North Super Late Models have not competed since May 18 at Quebec’s Autodrome Chaudiere. Rainouts at White Mountain Motorsports Park and Speedway 660 led to PASS officials adding a make-up event at Oxford Plains Speedway on June 22 and, despite a glimmer of hope that saw cars make it on track for heat racing, a summer shower sent teams packing once again. And, you guessed it, last weekend’s event scheduled for New Hampshire’s Canaan Fair Speedway had to be cancelled due to soggy conditions in and around the speedway.

PASS North Returns To Action Sunday At Oxford Plains

PASS NorthNAPLES, ME (June 20) – To say competitors in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model division are ready to race again could certainly qualify as an understatement. It has been over a month since Patrick Laperle won the Frameco 150 at Autodrome Chaudiere in Quebec thanks to rain outs at both White Mountain Motorsports Park and Speedway 660. With that being said, PASS officials decided to add an event for this Sunday at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway to offset those cancellations. The Oxford event will complete a busy weekend along the Atlantic Seaboard that begins with the PASS South Super Late Models racing the day before at Southern National Motorsports Park in North Carolina.
