Defending SK Light Champion Jeremy Sorel Moving Up to SK Modified® Division for 2015 Season at Stafford Motor Speedway

nbvnfghg(Stafford Springs, CT)—Jeremy Sorel came to Stafford Speedway in 2014 as a rookie not only to the track, but to modified competition as well. Sorel was a veteran of Late Model racing down south at Hickory and Greenville-Pickens but his lack of modified experience was never evident as he claimed two wins along with the track championship. Sorel will now look to repeat that rookie success as he will move his #77 Bill’s Repair Service team up to the SK Modified® ranks and challenge for SPAFCO Rookie of the Year honors.

Mike Christopher, Jr. Ready to Make SK Modified® Debut at Stafford Motor Speedway

gdfgdfg(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the green flag falls on the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler on April 25-26 at Stafford Motor Speedway, the track’s premier SK Modified® division will see second generation driver Mike Christopher, Jr. among its rookie crop of drivers. Christopher began the 2014 season behind the wheel of a Legend Car but he finished out the year driving the final 5 races in the track’s SK Light division. He is now making the move into the SK Modified® division where he will race against his Uncle Ted and the rest of the SK Modified® field on a weekly basis with the same #82 that his father made famous to Stafford race fans.

Dunleavy’s Truck & Trailer Repair Joining Stafford SK Modified® and SK Light Contingency Programs

rhfghghfg(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway modified feature winners will enjoy some extra cash to take home on Friday nights with the addition of Dunleavy’s Truck and Trailer Repair to the track’s Contingency Program. Dunleavy will post a 1st place bonus of $150 for each SK Modified® feature winner as well as a $125 bonus for each SK Light feature winner during the 2015 season.

Stafford Motor Speedway SK Light Rookie Class Taking Shape for $1,000 R.A.D. Automachine & T/A Engines Bonus

ashifuasfasfa(Stafford Springs, CT)—Just as Stafford Motor Speedway’s 2015 SK Modified® rookie crop is looking to be a great duel for Rookie of the Year honors, Stafford’s SK Light rookie class is also looking to be a blockbuster fight for the top rookie honors. R.A.D. Automachine and T/A Engines are each putting up a $500 bonus for a record total of $1,000 that will go to the top rookie.
Jeremy Sorel was the top SK Light rookie in 2014 and not only was he the top rookie, but he was the third driver in the short history of the SK Light division at Stafford to win the championship as a rookie driver, joining Michael Gervias, Jr. and Matt Galko. With the backgrounds and racing experience that each of the 2015 SK Light rookie class drivers possess, there could be a fourth rookie championship winner.

Call Before You Dig Returns as Title Sponsor Of August Whelen Modified Tour Event At Stafford Motor Speedway

The 2015 Call Before You Dig 150 will mark the second consecutive season that CBYD has served as the title sponsor of the NWMT race at Stafford.
