CAR NUMBER REQUESTS FOR 2014 NOW BEING ACCEPTED AT THOMPSON

THOMPSON, CT. Thompson Speedway is accepting applications for car number renewals for the 2014 racing season. Competitors are encouraged to preserve their car number by completing the registration form and getting to the Thompson Speedway track office prior to the renewal date of January 15, 2014.

Thompson Speedway is proud to announce that, once again, there is no charge affiliated with car number renewals. Every year the track provides this service to its NASCAR Whelen All-American Series competitors so that they can begin to prepare their race cars and without the concern of having to make costly, last minute changes to the car’s number.

Competitors are urged to go to the track’s web page (www.thompsonspeedwayoval.com), click on the car number renewal link on the front page. Once they have read the instructions, the forms should be downloaded, filled out and returned to the speedway via fax, email or regular mail.

Any questions regarding car number renewal may be addressed to Russ Dowd at the Thompson track office. Race teams may call 860-923-2280 or email questions to [email protected].

Early renewal of car numbers has worked very well for many years at Thompson Speedway. Competitors have found that this easy and free service enables them to fully prepare their cars well in advance of a new season.
