RTR has been streaming races on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour since the 2011 season, making Canadian motorsports history at the IWK 250 that year by airing the event live to Satellite Radio, which became the first stock car race in Canada to be aired live on the platform.

PARTS FOR TRUCKS PRO STOCK TOUR 15th ANNIVERSARY SCHEDULE RELEASE

pro stock tour(Halifax, NS – January 19, 2015) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is pleased to announce their 2015 racing schedule. The region’s premier stock car racing series will make stops in five major markets in all three Maritime Provinces during the 15th Anniversary Season.

The season kicks off at Scotia Speedworld, with a 100-lap event on Saturday, May 23rd. The series will make three additional stops at Scotia Speedworld, including a 150-lap feature on Saturday, June 20th, the prestigious 16th Annual Atlantic Cat 250 on Saturday, August 8th and the series 200-lap season finale on Saturday, September 19th.

PRO STOCK TOUR CLOSES 2013 WITH ANNUAL AWARDS GALA

November 23, 2013) The curtain officially fell on the 2013 edition of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Saturday night in Moncton, New Brunswick with the series annual awards gala. Over 200 drivers, crews, sponsors, officials and fans of the series gathered at the Crowne Plaza Moncton to honor their accomplishments from this past season. The top 16 drivers from 2013 shared in the $50,000 Parts for Trucks point fund, with $10,000 going to the champion of the series, John Flemming. For Flemming, it was his fourth series title and first since 2006.

Along with the series championship and prize money comes a ring commissioned by Inglis Jewelers. In addition to his championship, Flemming also collected the Linde Group Most Laps Led Award and the Atlantic Tiltload Time Trial Award for 2013.

PRO STOCK TOUR AWARDS BANQUET TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY IN MONCTON

(Halifax, NS. November 20, 2013) John Flemming of Halifax, Nova Scotia will officially be crowned as the first four-time Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion on Saturday night in Moncton, New Brunswick. The season will officially come to a close on November 23rd at the Crowne Plaza as the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will host their annual awards gala in the “Hub City.” The ballroom is expected to be packed with Tour teams, drivers, officials, sponsors and fans as they celebrate the accomplishments of the 2013 season.

While Flemming will be the driver receiving the big trophy and the $10,000 share of the $50,000 Parts for Trucks point fund, the series will be honoring their 16 full-time teams for their standings finishes. Drivers will also be recognized through a number of contingency awards and vendor programs they were eligible to compete for during the past season. New this season is the Irving Blending and Packaging Fan Favorite Award, which will see the driver selected by an online vote receive a cash bonus.

SEASON FINALE DARTMOUTH DODGE 200 TO DECIDE 2013 PRO STOCK TOUR CHAMPION

pro stock tour(Halifax, NS, September 11, 2013) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will close out another sensational season this Saturday at Scotia Speedworld with the Dartmouth Dodge 200. After 12 events in five cities, over 40 competitors and 1,650 feature laps, it all comes down to the final 200 circuits to decide who will be crowned the 2013 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion – and who will cash the $10,000.00 cheque! Qualifying for the Dartmouth Dodge 200 gets underway at 3:10 PM with the Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials followed by championship racing set for 4:00 PM. Grandstand gates open at 1:00 PM.

Three-time series champion John Flemming (Halifax, NS) enters the Season Finale Dartmouth Dodge 200 with a 49 point lead over fellow three-time series champ Shawn Tucker (Fredericton, NB). Tucker has been dominating the second half of the season but even if he is able to pull off his fifth win of the season and take the Linde Most Lap Led Award, it would give him the maximum 210 points, meaning Flemming will still only need to finish 19th or better in order to take home his fourth title.
