MARITIME MOTORSPORTS HALL OF FAME WELCOMES 10 NEW INDUCTEES

MONCTON, NB (November 23, 2016) – The Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame (MMHF) welcomed 10 new inductees this past Saturday night during the 11th annual Induction Ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Each was welcomed into the hallowed Hall with a video introduction and presented with a commemorative plaque and exclusive specially-commissioned Inductee ring, sponsored by King Racing.

More than 175 friends, family, and fans of the inductees gathered to witness the gala occasion which also served as a fundraiser for the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. Guests were also generous with their support of the MMHF through the silent auction and the annual inductee flag auction, sponsored by Milco and won by Toys for Big Boys with a Bid of $825.00.

(Halifax, NS – November 14th, 2016) In front of a sold out crowd at the Delta Hotel in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Cole Butcher of Porter’s Lake, Nova Scotia was officially crowned the youngest champion in Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour history. (Halifax, NS – November 8, 2016) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will return to Prince Edward Island on Saturday to officially close the 2016 stock car racing season with their annual Awards Gala. The Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown will play host to the event for the third time in series history after hosting the year ending show in 2010 and 2011.

After 11 events in five cities across the Maritimes it all comes down to the final 200 laps to decide who will be crowned the 2016 Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Champion – and who will cash the $10,000.00 champions cheque! Please note the early start time for this event, qualifying for the Dartmouth Dodge 200 will begin at 4:00pm with Atlantic Tiltload heat races. Grandstand gates will open at 1:00 PM.

Teen Claims Second Win, Takes Pinty’s Series Points Lead Back

JAMES RIVER, NS (August 21, 2016) – Cayden Lapcevich only intended to run a handful of races this year and see what happened.
What has happened is the 16-year-old from Grimsby, Ontario, has produced a dream season.

The good times continued Saturday night, as Lapcevich chased down Jason Hathaway in the closing laps to claim the Bumper To Bumper 300 at Riverside International Speedway. It was the second win of the season and left Lapcevich with the NASCAR Pinty’s Series championship points lead with three races remaining.

NASCAR Weekend Preview – Bumper to Bumper 300 & Lots More

JAMES RIVER, NS (August 17, 2016) – In the 10-year history of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, one stop everyone looks forward to is Riverside International Speedway for the Bumper To Bumper 300.

The race will be held this Saturday and once again feature 300 laps of side-by-side competition on the fast .333-mile speedway.

Among the favorites expected to contend for the win will be current points leader Andrew Ranger. Ranger won the season-opener at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, and he has remained out front in the standings thanks to a pair of wins during the first half of the season.
