CFS Schedule Released

For Maritime Super Sportsman 3 x 125 lap Maritime Super Series on the first weekends in June, July and August. Plus a 150 Lap finale at the Atlantic Championships. All of these events will have some of our biggest purses ever including first place prizes from $1000 to $2000 to win and a significant points fund of $5000 to be distributed to regular competitors in the series. More details and other exciting developments are on the horizon re this series so stay tuned!

– For you “Rock em Sock em” motor sports fans the season kicks off with a Giant Demo and Endurance event (back by popular demand) on May 22nd and the Atlantic MONSTER Nationals return to the CENTRE in the middle of the summer on August 6th. There are three “Thrasher” events also on the 2nd weekend of each month of June, July and August. (Thrasher events use Enduro class cars and contact IS allowed and encouraged. It adds mayhem to any event for the less serious stock car fan. Anyone with an Enduro car can compete in the Thrasher events and ALL competitors receive a payout just like any other division at the speedway.

– For those who love “home grown” weekly short track racing there are 8 Points Championships
events scheduled and 6 dates which will include the new Open Wheel Modifieds Division plus
a points season ending powder puff and mechanics races.

– For Pro Stock Fans we have placed a request (this past October) for one or more MPST races,
if the speedway did not sell. Hopefully we will be receiving at least one date (and hopefully two)
for we MPST Pro Stock fans. Of course the Atlantic Championships will once again see our yearly
Pro Stock invitational continue but this year with one exciting enhancement – the expansion of the race
to a 250 lap event.

– Speaking of the Atlantic Championships, 2011 will see the racing spread out over an additional
weekend to include 3 big and fun weekends form Sept 24th or Oct 9th. This will allow the speedway
to further enhance each weekly event and provide more flexibility should we see inclement weather.
So, “Atlantic Speed Weeks” will include a Pro Stock 250, Maritime Series Sportsman 150 Open,
Sportsman (Street Stock) 100, “Little Guys” 100, and an Outlaw 100 for Maritime Sportsman
and Island Modifieds (with one of our biggest purses of the year) and, tentatively, an Open Wheel
championship events.

So, so far we hope you’ll agree that it’s shaping up to be a fun and exciting year and Susan and I hope
to “See you at the CENTRE” in 2011. All the very best of our wishes for you and your families for the
holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone.
