When the Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour heads on their next trip at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, not only will it be on the road course, but they will be racing for more than just a trophy. The next race will be a National Qualifier for the 2011 Legends Road Course Nationals.
The event takes place during the popular 88th Annual Loudon Classic motorcycle event, the longest running motorcycle event in North America. The 1.6 mile road course features 12 difficult corners, with mostly left turns with a few hard right handers. It is famous for the legendary bowl, which is one of the most exciting turns in all of road racing.
The Legends Cars reach speeds in access of 110 miles per hour down the long front straightaway before heavy braking into turn one. With the speed and the difficulty of the course, with its long corners and hill out back, it is one of the most demanding races for any Legends Car driver. The race will be held on June 19th. Gates open at 7:00 AM, with the first practice taking place at 10:15 AM.
Racing is slated to start at 12:35 PM. For more news, info and how you can get behind the wheel of a Legends Car, visit Nelcar.net.
