(Shediac, N.B.) — The Centre for Speed, Atlantic Canada’s Super Speedway and Metro Moncton’s Playground of Power, will host the Cavendish Farms 150 this Sunday afternoon with door-handle-to-door-handle action in individual 50-lap features in the Mini Stock / Four Fun, Shediac Sportsman and Super Sportsman stock car racing divisions.
Current CFS points leaders, Luc Bourgeois of Memramcook (Super Sportsman), Doug MacEwen of Charlottetown (Shediac Sportsman), Martin Landry of Grand Barachois (Mini Stock) and Serge Robichaud of St. Charles (Four Fun) will out to capture valuable points in a bid to pad their respective points lead against regular competitors and a number of drivers expected from throughout the three Maritime provinces during Sunday’s action.
Admission to Sunday’s event is only $10 for adults and $5 for children (5-15 years of age) with a Family Pass for 2 adults and 2 children of only $25. As an added bonus, fans
who have purchased tickets for the Monster Truck Madness 2010 event, which CFS is currently trying to reschedule from last Sunday due to a number of trucks not being available for the show, will be admitted FREE of charge to Sunday’s Cavendish Farms 150 event upon presentation of their Monster Madness ticket or pre-event purchase information as a show of the CENTRE’s appreciation for their understanding and patience.
Front gates and grandstands open at 1:00 p.m. with green flag action starting at 2:00 p.m.
CFS urges everyone to check the speedway’s web site (www.centreforspeed.com) or call the speedway’s info line (506-532-3032) to check the status of any event before travelling in case of inclement weather.
