Beginning this Thursday, May 20th, six NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions stand ready to begin a brand new season of weekly competition at the famed Connecticut oval.

Thompson’s TNTT has become a fan favorite, entertaining and an affordable night out because of the incredible competition and the fast-paced nature of the entire program. Feature event racing gets underway at around 7 PM and goes virtually non-stop until the show is over by 9:30 PM. Fans get to see all six divisions in wheel-to-wheel battle and still are headed home at an early hour. Qualifying events begin at 5:45 P M so that feature event racing is ready to go at by 7 O’clock. Grandstands open at 4:30 P M.

The TNTT race program has bolstered Thompson’s loyal fan base and has brought in countless new fans for a fun-filled, family priced night of entertainment. The track’s management works very hard to provide a non-stop, fast paced and action packed program that gives race fans one of the best entertainment values to be found anywhere.

Thompson’s “Super 6” NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions make up the regular weekly racing program. The exciting Sunoco Modifieds feature the very best open wheel modified drivers in the northeast. The competition is fast, close and filled with edge-of-the-seat excitement. Keith Rocco, the division’s defending champ, will lead a stellar line up racing talent. Drivers Ted Christopher, Ronnie Silk, Rowan Pennink, Woody Pitkat and Kerry Malone are just a few of the drivers that will compete every Thursday night at Thompson.

The Super Late Models also feature extremely talented drivers. Young sensation Derek Ramstrom will once again try to best the likes of Mike O’Sullivan, Dennis Maxfield, Norman Wrenn and many more. Like the drivers in all of Thompson’s divisions, the Super Late Model competitors drive hard, fast and close in an effort to be the first across the finish line.

Add to these two classes of racing an additional four divisions that are also laden with talent and you’ve to a great night of racing action. Thompson’s Late Models, Limited Sportsman, Thompson Modifieds and Mini Stocks provide thrill-a-minute racing action and have generated a great fan following because of the incredible racing excitement that they generate every week.

Tickets for regular TNTT race events are family priced at only $15.00 for adults. Juniors between the ages of six and fourteen are admitted for $5.00 and youngsters, ages five and under, are admitted free.

Thompson’s 2010 Thursday night racing schedule is filled with a variety of racing action.
