strong>Waterford Winner Christopher Disqualified For Fuel Violation
Pasteryak Declared Winner After Wild Finish.
Canaan, NH. — Plainville, CT, veteran Ted Christopher passed under the checkered flag first Saturday night but Sunday morning found himself disqualified from the race due to a rules infraction.
Christopher led the majority of the “Wings & Wheels 100” at New London-Waterford Speedbowl until a lap 93 pass by Chris Pasteryak, of Jewett City, CT, who then pulled way until a late race caution. On a green-white-checker restart, Pasteryak and Christopher hooked up in a side-by-side battle until Christopher made an inside pass move on the last lap to go on to an apparent victory.

The points battle continues between Pierson & Chaffee in the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds
BRADFORD, VT – The annual John Poor Memorial night sponsored by Walker Motor Sales was recorded as yet another great night of racing on the ¼ Bear Ridge Speedway clay oval.
The DIRTcar Bond Auto Parts Sportsman Modifieds got off to a shaky start with a couple cautions slowing the pace before they could finally settle down for some great edge of your seat racing. Adam Pierson worked his was from the back of pack to take over the lead from rookie Steven Flint who was having the best race of his season on lap nineteen. Pierson would cruise on for the win over Derek Graham and Jordan Fornwalt who came home in third. Mike Gendron and Kevin Chaffee rounded out the top five.

ALEXANDER CLAIMS FIRST PROSTOCK WIN AT BOSS HOGG 100

Fans thronged the grandstands at Wiscasset Speedway to see the annual Boss Hogg 100 Prostock race. The day was warm and sunny, and turned into a balmy evening under the bright lights of Wiscasset. The race was sponsored by LLP Transport and Ideal Portable Toilets. There were twenty-one Prostocks that competed for a purse that was nearly $8,000. The group one division of racing action was also on the schedule, including New England Four Cylinder Prostock, Napa Super Street, and Thunder Four Mini’s.
The Boss Hogg 100 lap Prostock race was the highlight of the evening. Starting on the pole was the #01 of Andy Saunders. To his right was the #47 of Kelly Moore. Behind in third was the #96 of Wyatt Alexander. When green flag racing began, the cars roared across the start line to the cheering of the gathered fans.

Matt Frahm Adds Another Trophy to the Mantel
WINCHESTER, NH – Matt Frahm took advantage of a tangle between the first and second place cars, inheriting the lead on lap 31, and powering to the victory in the JBH 100 at Monadnock Speedway.
Adam Norton took advantage of his pole position starting spot, as the Ludlow, MA driver would lead the first quarter of the race. A chain reaction incident on lap 24 would send Derek Griffith careening into turn one, damaging the spoiler of his automobile. Norton would hold off Frahm on two consecutive restarts, before Mike O’Sullivan joined the mix, getting under Norton and battling for the lead. On lap 31, O’Sullivan and Norton spun in turn four, sending both cars to the back of the pack.

JOHNNY CLARK PREVAILS ON PEPSI NIGHT AT OXFORD PLAINS SPEEDWAY
Oxford, Maine — Johnny Clark of Farmingdale raced to his first Super Late Model victory of the season, topping the Budweiser Championship Series racing card on Pepsi Night at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday night.
Clark raced from deep on the starting grid into contention in a non-stop, green-to-checkered flag 50-lapper, took the lead away from Super Late Model rookie Spencer Morse of Waterford.
Morse, who set the pace of the race for more than 30 laps, lost runner-up honors at the last second to Oxford’s Dennis Spencer, Jr., by inches at the stripe. Still, it’s a career-best run in the top class for the young, third-generation racer.
