Bond Auto Tiger Sportsman and Allen Lumber Street Stock seasons have reached the final hour, as both divisions will close out championship point battles this weekend, September 29 and 30, at the 50th People’s United Bank Milk Bowl. Wolcott’s Brendan Moodie, Jr. currently holds a nine-point advantage over a hard-charging Bobby Therrien of Hinesburg coming into the final event. Both drivers are looking for their first-ever Tiger Championship. Two-time Tiger Champion Shawn Fleury sits in third place just 12-points back, with Milton’s Eric Badore and Williamstown driver Mike Ziter completing the top five championship contenders.
The Bond Auto Tiger Sportsmen have endured one of the closest championship point battles in recent history, one where seven of the current top ten have led the standings at some point during the year. Many drivers have seen a glimpse of the championship. One will walk away with it this coming weekend.
