Proctor-Quenneville Championship Fight Settled Friday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
Veterans separated by 23 points; semi-feature adds extra chance for bonus points

WEST HAVEN, VT – Two veteran Modified stock car racers will settle an exciting season-long championship fight on Friday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, as Ron Proctor and Vince Quenneville, Jr., vie for NASCAR Whelen All-American Series title honors on Championship Night presented by Brown’s Quarried Slate and Brown’s Orchard & Farm Stand.

With the Sunoco Race Fuels “Dash For Cash” semi-feature added in the final weeks of the season, a total of 65 points are up for grabs on Friday. Quenneville, of Brandon, VT, can cut as much as 14 points off his 23-point deficit before the main event begins if he finishes near the front in his qualifying heat and the semi-feature, but only if Charlton, NY racer Proctor finishes fourth or worse in his heat race. In that scenario, Quenneville would only need to beat Proctor by five positions in the main event.
