Hattori Racing Enterprises raced solid at the historic Bowman Gray Stadium in the K&N Pro Series East NASCAR Hall of Fame 150 on Saturday, June 2, 2012 but a last lap spin relegated their finishes to 9th and 19th.
“We had a hard time getting forward bite during practice,”Grimes, IA native, Brett Moffitt explained. “The track was real slick and there was no grip. We made a lot of changes but finally felt like we had a good balance at the end of practice.”
Sergio Pena battled the same condition in his # 1 AISIN AW Toyota.

Full Story – Todd Bodine breaks win drought in rain-shortened trucks race at Dover
At a racetrack where a casino is an integral part of the complex, Todd Bodine gambled and won big.
Despite spinning early in Friday’s rain-shortened Lucas Oil 200, Bodine remained on the lead leap, and with a contrarian pit strategy, he worked his way into the lead. When rain forced NASCAR to call the race after 147 laps, Bodine was the winner, breaking a drought of 37 races dating to 2010.
The two-time series champion won for the 22nd time in his career after fending off an assault from Parker Kligerman, the race runner-up. Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick, who dominated the first half of the race, was third when NASCAR called the event after a second stoppage for rain.

The event was scheduled to host the USAC Dirt Midget Association and Granite State Mini Sprints along with a full card for the 99ROCK Weekly Racing Series Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, A Notch Above Automotive Limited Late Models, Weglarz Property Service Fast Fours, KDD NAPA Auto Parts Hornets, and the Hornet Stinger youth division.

With the rain coming down and a flood watch in effect, White Mountain Motorsports Park has been forced to cancel racing for this Saturday, June, 2, 2012.
Racing will resume next Saturday evening at 5pm with all five racing divisions seeing action. In addition we will welcome the Antique Racers for their only visit of the 2012 season. The nostalgia and memories of racing in times gone by is something not to be missed.
Racing begins at 5pm, with the gates opening at 1pm and practice starting at 3pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $2 for children under 10.
