The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Models returned to Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia on Saturday, May 28th, for the first time since the inaugural race at the track in 2008. This time, the event also marked the second PASS National championship race of the season. After 150 laps of grueling competition, Ben Rowe edged Jay Fogleman at the line to win his first series race of the year, making six different winners in six races this season in PASS South competition. THOMPSON, CT. The first of two Tour-Type Modified races will be held this Thursday, June 2nd, at the Thompson International Speedway. The Tour-Type Modifieds were a big hit with Thompson fans last year and are expected to provide exciting, high-speed, wheel-to-wheel competition once again.
Many of the best Modified drivers in the northeast are expected to be on hand for this race. Qualifying will be done with heat races to determine the starting positions in the 40-lap feature event. This format for the Tour-Type Modifieds is reminiscent of the golden era of Modified racing. Both competitors and fans look forward to this extremely competitive style of racing for the most popular type of race cars in New England.
